Cafe Del Sol Hürth — Restaurant in Hürth

Today was my first time at this place and unfortunately I left unhappy. The place is really cool and the menu is nice with many choices. I ordered a burger with pulled turkey with french fries. I waited for an hour, then the waitress came confused to ask me if I have ordered anything to eat, cause she couldn't remember. Then she apologized that the kitchen was busy because they had many group orders (even tho I didn't see that much food coming out) and restaurant was full with waiters. After five minutes my burger came, cold. The fries were cold and twice fried, they were brown and tasteless (the portion was huge, tho). I love fries I couldn't eat them. The burger was tasty, but small and completely soaked with meat juice and salad juices as it was cooling down, and it was falling apart. The end of the burger completely fell appart and the meat and salad were all around the plate. With no cutlery it was impossible to eat it. It was very messy. The meat was really nice and fresh, tho. I also ordered a mango vanilla spritz which was tasteful, but half the glass. The waitress didn't come to check if the food was ok. I really eat a small portions, but I stayed hungry. :/ I know this can happen, anyways they forgot my plate in the kitchen and it was then ruined. That's why only 3 stars...

Food was okay but the service was unfortunately very bad “in the beginning” We sat outside and were told that the waiter will come to us n take the order. We sat for more than 20mins waiting for someone to take the order n nothing happened. Went in told them again n they said the same thing so went back sat again n waited again but unfortunately no one came to take orders. When i went back in for the third time and with kinda annoyed n angry voice n face, that’s when they directly took the order. I understand that they might be under pressure coz there are many people and all but still they should regularly check if someone is sitting outside. Nevertheless the staff were pretty much nice and friendly. The brunch was good with enough variety but a bit overpriced. 20.5€ p.p excluding coffee and drinks. Sunday Brunch is overall an average experience. Poor selection, but at least tasty. There is fruit, different type of bread, cheese, sausages, eggs, bacon; so everything you would expect but nothing really special. The lunch selection is more poor with one type of fish, 2 types of meat dishes and some vegetables and pasta. Price is quite high for the expectations. Really bothering is the fact that once a dish for lunch is empty they do not refill. I.e. cordon bleu. We asked 1,5 h before the brunch was supposed to end to refill it, but they did not. Better to be there early if you want to see "the full selection". Not recommended in case you have...
