Food: Absolutely delicious. 5 stars.

Front of house: Unfortunately the service lets this establishment down. The first time I went with my partner, we found quite a large shard of glass in our Ezme cold starter. We are not the type to complain but quietly raised this to our waitress who immediately took the plate away. Upon paying, we realised that the plate had not been cancelled off the bill and so had to remind her what had happened. Baring in mind, restaurants could be closed down for mistakes of this nature, I was surprised at her unbothered attitude. I would have even expected more of a gesture to make up for this - perhaps if we overreacted a little more, they would have made more of an effort. Maybe they assumed we are not the type of person to leave a review...

The second time I went with a group of people, two of the dishes that arrived from the kitchen were the incorrect order. Being English speakers, we, the guests, were blamed for this miscommunication. Alternatively, if the waiter had double-checked our order as is so standard in the restaurant industry, this would not have happened. The two guests sat and waited for their food for around 20 minutes whilst the rest of us finished our plates (which were delicious). They were continuously being told “just another two minutes”. Eventually, when the rest of us were all finished and wanting to leave, the two guests had enough and tried to cancel their pending food order, however were met with complete hostility and were told it couldn’t be cancelled as it was now finally ready. We were forced to pay for the full meal at the end, no apology or accountability from the quite rude blonde lady. We were made to feel responsible for the mistakes that were made by the front of house team.

It’s such a shame to see service like this, in what should be a really top-quality restaurant.

This is a really good and tasty steakhouse offering steaks Turkish style along with some traditional Turkish cuisine. If you are going to a steakhouse, it goes without saying that you should try any of the steak cuts. Different places make these in different ways, so this place has a nice Turkish style to the food. If you like, you can select from a variety of traditional Turkish dishes which are delicious and well cooked. The atmosphere is really nice and warm, staff are friendly and the service is in a timely manner. There is a separate drinks and dessert menu. If your stomach has enough space, I would recommend to try one of their really yummy desserts. Having mentioned all this, I come from Australia and we have lots of Turkish restaurants but the one here is a must try if you are a fan of Turkish food. Ich war spontan ohne Reservierung vor Ort. Mitten in der Woche ist am späten Abend keine Reservierung mehr notwendig. Trotzdem würde ich empfehlen einmal kurz vorher anzurufen und nachzufragen, ob noch Plätze frei sind.

Zu meiner Bewertung:

Der Service und das Personal bekommen von mir 5/5 Sternen ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Super nett, freundlich und angenehm. Die Getränke kamen schnell, und ansonsten konnten wir nichts negatives feststellen.

Zur Vorspeise: Wir hatten uns den in Öl frittierten Fetakäse mit Ofengemüse auf Zwiebelringen bestellt. Der Käse hätte etwas länger frittiert werden dürfen, und war leider kaum frittiert. Trotzdem war die Vorspeise soweit ganz gut, und auch mit den Zwiebelringen eine leckere Vorspeise. Dazu wurde Fladenbrot gereicht. 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Zusätzlich gibt es immer ein Stück Fladenbrot mit zwei Dips und Grünen & Schwarzen Oliven. Die Oliven waren sehr salzig, sonst aber lecker.

Zu den Hauptspeisen: Wir waren zu zweit, meine Begleitung hatte sich das 250g Rumpsteak mit hausgemachten Pommes ausgesucht. Preislich okay, geschmacklich konnte es aber unserer Meinung nicht überzeugen. Die Konsistenz war etwas hackfleischartig, und leider auch nicht so saftig, wie ich es erwartet hatte. Vielleicht war das aber auch nur ein Einzelfall, jedoch für den Preis sehr schade. 2/5 ⭐️⭐️Sternen, da die Pommes gut waren.

Ich hatte eine Fleischplatte, die vom Fleisch her besser war. Für meinen Geschmack jedoch etwas salzig und von den gewählten Gewürzen auch etwas langweilig. Ich hatte drei Fleischspiesse (Hähnchenspieß, Köftespieß & rotes Fleisch) ein kleines Steak mit Knochen und eine sehr salzige Köfte-Frikadelle. Dabei gab es Bulgurreis, der leider etwas trocken war, und Kartoffelscheiben. Die Kartoffelscheiben waren gut und mit den beiden Dips auch eine coole Idee. 3/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Als Beilage wurde ein Salat gereicht, der mir aber so schien, als wenn er schon einige Zeit im Kühlschrank stand. Leider nicht mehr knackig, geschmacklich okay aber auch nichts besonderes. 2/5 ⭐️⭐️

Zu den Getränken: Die Cocktails können wir empfehlen, genau wie die Hausgemachten Schorlen & Säfte. (Wir hatten eine Kirschschorle, Hausgem. Pfirsich-Eistee & Sex on the Beach) 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fazit: Vielleicht hatten wir einfach nur Pech was unsere Speisen anbelangt. Da hier viele positive Rezensionen verfasst wurden, würden wir trotzdem nochmal wiederkommen und dem Restaurant nochmal die Chance geben uns zu überzeugen. Das Konzept gefiel uns eigentlich gut, und auch das freundliche Personal ist ein absoluter Pluspunkt. Es wirkte alles sehr durchorganisiert, und durchdacht. Die Atmosphäre war auch schön, auch wenn die Musik etwas laut war.

Jedoch haben wir für den Preis etwas mehr erwartet. Gerade das Steak, war leider enttäuschend.
