Very busy restaurant with only one waiter, but a fast and hard working guy, quickly had the menu and shortly after our meal was ordered. Ordered a honey burger and wagyu steak. Preparation time was very reasonable, no longer than 15m. Burger was more than ok, no complaints about that. The wagyu however is a different story. For 32.5 euro I did not expect real waguy off course but at least a good quality rumsteak. I was never asked how it should be cooked which normally is a good thing, good quality steak is served medium rare. Didn't turn out that way as you can see in the included picture. I received a low quality rumsteak with not even a wiff of the typical melted fat taste of wagyu, completely well done and full of chewy bits. I did complain on site and the boss did come out to explain that it is real wagyu by saying literally this : 'read my lips, this is real wagyu!'. I'm a low and slow fan and have cooked quite some meat including wagyu, I do know a thing or two about quality meat. The wagyu is not worth the money, it's just a tourist rip-off, not even worth calling it a quality rumpsteak. And the fact that it was served well done only confirms that the cook doesn't know what quality meat is, stick to flipping burgers in the future. As a response to the comment of the owner : I always pay my meals, never requested a refund, paid the bill and even left with a smile, regardless of the low quality steak, I was having a good time with my girlfriend. While I was suspected to avoid paying the bill, my findings are real and documented in the photo. My suspicion is that both the offered Wagyu as well as the USA Bison probably is just a low quality steak in order to profit from the tourist. The proof is in the pudding as they say, any good chef knows that a steak is served medium rare unless requested otherwise. The arrogant tone how you talked to me when explaining it was wagyu as if I was a child that didn't know anything and now this reactions, only proves that I'm right. And again, great place for burgers but stay away from the low quality steaks, they are not worth the price!

Definitely come eat here! The outside area is situated perfectly by the water. Stunning location. We came at a busy time so had to sit inside. Definitely more bar vibes inside with rock music playing - but not too loud. We ordered the goulash and the waldsteak. Both were cooked perfectly, we absolutely devoured our meals. Also very impressed with the staff. Two people were waiting the dining area and we could only see one other person in the kitchen. Only three people at such a busy time, and still everyone was being served quickly! Again = VERY impressed.

Nicht empfehlenswert dort essen zu gehen. (Diese Rezension bezieht sich auch nur aufs essen) Der gemischte Beilagensalat (4,5€) bestand eigentlich nur aus gezupftem Blattsalat mit Balsamico. Die rustikalen Pommes sind nicht wie man vermutet dickere bräunere Pommes/wedges sondern normale Pommes welche mit rustikalen Gemüse, Soße und feta bedeckt werden (vgl angefügtes Bild). Da Burgerpreise erst ab 10 Euro beginnen und man noch Beilagen dazu bestellen muss, ist der Preis aus meiner Sicht nicht gerechtfertigt. Das Restaurant bietet aber auch viele verschiedene Fleischsorten an, welche es sonst nicht so zu finden gibt.

Definitely come eat here! The outside area is situated perfectly by the water. Stunning location. We came at a busy time so had to sit inside. Definitely more bar vibes inside with rock music playing - but not too loud. We ordered the goulash and the waldsteak. Both were cooked perfectly, we absolutely devoured our meals. Als erstes, ich hab jetzt echt etwas überlegt zu bewerten, da ich ungern nur 1 Stern abgebe. Hier die Bewertung von mir und meinen Mann, beide gelernte Köche. Fangen wir mit dem Positiven an : Servickraft sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und geduldig. Wir waren zu 3 Personen vor Ort, gegessen hat unser Sohn ein Burger mit Pommes . Er sagt es war okay, musste aber die Pilze vom Burger ab sammeln obwohl zuvor ohne bestellt! Keine Tragödie kann man überleben;) Mein Mann und ich hatten beide das Französische Rumpsteak und da fing die Katastrophe an. Fleisch Qualität sehr schlecht. Geschmacklos, farblos, sehnig! Steaks jeweils 2 verschiedene größen. Was mich sehr geärgert hat war das mein Steak 2x komplett quer und bei meinem mann 1x eingeschnitten war um zu schauen ob es medium war. Liebe Leute so was geht nicht Fleischsaft/geschmack geht verloren. Auf Nachfrage warum unser Fleisch nochmal Sterben musste, kam die Antwort von der Servicekraft .... der Chefkoch ist kein gelernter Koch. Jo das haben wir leider schon gemerkt. Das hausgemachte Dressing war nicht meins, aber da sind Geschmäcker verschieden. Beilagen waren gut und sehr reichlich. Und wir waren wirklich entsetzt über denn getrockneten Dill der überall auf der ganzen Platte verstreut war. Dill zum Steak geht garnicht, über Pommes auch nicht und über denn kompletten Rand der Platte auch nicht, wirklich man hatte das Gefühl da ist mindestens 1kg Dill drauf ;) wir saßen am Fenster Platz die Fenster hatten einzigartige Flecken. Speisekarte etwas klebrig zu dem über dem Boden der ganze Fleischsaft verteilt und obwohl wir sagten vorsicht es läuft grad voll runter, wurde es nicht aufgewischt. Find ich etwas gefährlich,rutschgefahr. Wir haben das Essen zurück geben lassen. Was auch anstandslos und mit Entschuldigung abgeräumt wurde. Auf Nachfrage ob wir etwas anderes bestellen möchten haben wir leider nicht mehr denn Mut gehabt noch etwas zu bestellen. Hungrig und enttäuscht die Stube verlassen. Der Grund warum ich mich entschieden habe doch zu bewerten.... in Hoffnung dass diese Kritik ernst genommen wird, nicht als Angriff oder Beleidigung aufgefasst wird. Sondern Änderung und Verbesserung in Angriff genommen wird.

Nachtrag und Antwort auf die Antwort vom Inhaber:

Wir haben unsere Getränke, Beilage und das Essen unseres Sohnes bezahlt. Das wir unsere Steaks die wir einmal angeschnitten und probiert haben und die eine Gabel Salat die verzehrt wurde nicht in Rechnung gestellt wurde ist ja wohl in der Gastronomie selbstverständlich! Der Kommentar " So kann man auch durch die Restaurants ziehen" und die Antwort an sich, zeigt ja dann leider doch das Kritik leider nicht gern angenommen wird! Und noch nebenbei, ja wir ziehen durch viele Restaurants und mussten noch nie unser essen zurück geben ! Schade das eine konstruktive Kritik nicht gern...

I had dinner at this restaurant with my family and ordered a veggie burger. However, when it was served, the burger was completely burnt. After we made this known inside, it was said that this was the way a vegetarian burger was normally prepared. When I wanted to bring the food inside because it was inedible, I was asked if I wanted the same dish prepared in the same way or a different dish. When this other dish was served, the chef came to say that he can't help it if something doesn't taste good. This was not the point at all, the burger was simply burnt...
