Antica-Italia — Restaurant in Ingolstadt

DO not reccommend this place.

Was looking for place to fine dine with family while visitng ingolstadt and my hotel reccommended this place. Went to this resturant for dinner with family and deided to walk as it was not too far from the hotel. Resturant is set on the side of main road in the middle of the park or just lot of trees around it. First impression if the restaurant was decent looking place with touch of Italian art deco and wood fired pizza Oven at the entry. Got seated on one of the side tables where we ordered our drinks and food. Couple of pizzas and some lamd dish with salad and some pasta. Food was average not very high standard but things got worse when i saw salad come to life on my plate, it was about 2 inch long green worm hiding in the salad. I lost my appetite after seeing that Green crawing thing on my plate. Also to mention this resaurant does not hold very high standards when it comes to cleanlyness. As you already know what happened to my food i also lost a my glass of wine to a fly or some kind of flying bug. Einfach nur schade. Seit Jahrzehnten bin ich ein Fan vom Antica Italia. (Früher Italia Antica). Im Antica Italia passt eigentlich alles. Gute Speisen, tolles Ambiente und meistens guter Service. Meine Frau und ich haben es bei einem unserer letzten Besuche auch nicht überbewertet, dass wir auf unsere bestellten Speisen über eine Stunde warten mussten. So etwas kann schon mal vorkommen, wenn viel los ist. Aber sehr enttäuscht waren wir bei unserem letzten Besuch. Meine Frau und ich wollten an einem Wochentag, (Vorweihnachtszeit, Shoppingstress, viel Verkehr in Ingolstadt) im Italia mal kurz zum Pizzaessen vorbeischauen. Ich wusste auch, dass das Restaurant bis 14:30 Uhr geöffnet hat und das bis 14 Uhr Bestellungen angenommen werden. Doch wie bereits erwähnt, herrschte an dem Tag sehr starker Verkehr in Ingolstadt. So kam es, dass wir erst um 14:04 Uhr im Restaurant vor dem Tresen standen. Die Mitarbeiterin (Chefin? Ich weiß es nicht) verkündete uns, das die Küche nur bis 14 Uhr geöffnet habe. Leider konnten wir sie auch nicht mit dem Hinweis, dass wir nur schnell gerne eine Pizza haben wollten, nicht dazu bewegen uns einen Platz anzubieten. Anzumerken wäre noch, dass zu diesem Zeitpunkt, noch mehrere Tische mit Gästen belegt waren. Schade. Wären wir nur 4 Minuten früher eingetroffen und hätten ein mehrgängiges Menü geordert, hätten wir es...

Schlechtes Personal und schrecklicher Koch. Nahm extra Preise zusätzlich für extra Sause in einem Take away. Kein höfliches Verhalten und kein Geschmack im Essen trotz Anfragen. Nicht zu empfehlen. Als ich das Paket überprüfte, war es eine vertrocknete Pasta. Das Personal bittet mich, das Restaurant zu besuchen und 1€ für den Fehler zu kassieren. Was für eine Art von Service wird hier geboten? Zeitverschwendung, Geldverschwendung und man verhungert. Dear lady, I don't think you own the restaurant. I may have to file a legal complaint against you if you notice me and my family. Your job is to serve what the guests ask for and take money for it and you ask me for tips every time. You never gave me a penny or money for the horrible dishes. You are really a crazy woman and blind. Next time I see you watching me or posting nonsense I will sue you. And why do you expect me to tip you for the horrible feedback? You are confusing me with others who visit you. You are completely insane. Public posting should make sense and I don't think you can stand negative feedback. I will have to post your photo and say that the lady always asks for tips. I never visited you again after the incident....
