THEFT
During the PIN Payment the PIN device stayed on authorizing for a few seconds. Sunil Kumar the waiter / manager took away the PIN device and opened the device up and restarted it. He informed me that the payment was not done. I started checking my bank account via my phone. In the meantime my wife paid using another card. More or less at the same time I found out in my bank account that the first payment was also successful. Sunil Kumar came with a printout showing that the first payment was not done on this particular device (probably he has got two devices). He asked me to check my bank account tomorrow and if both payments were still there he would make sure I got my money back. He told me a man a man - a word a word. He also knew we were from the Netherlands in transit (Holiday) to Austria and not coming back to Ingolstadt.
Two days later I sent an email with all required details and printouts of the 2 transfers both clearly stating RESTAURANT GHANDI INGOLSTADT DEU as the receiving party.
Every time I contact him on the official email address he comes back to me via his gmail account with one or another excuse / same excuse not to pay back my money. The original bill was 80,80 for 2 persons (which was quite high for a relatively simple meal) and politely tipped it up to 85,- . I ended up paying 170,-
To me this CORRUPT restaurant with LIAR Sunil Kumar running the show...

As a start we only received 1 single Papadam to share among 2 people. The Gemischte Vorspeisen was no where worth 10€. It is meant for 2 people. However, we received a few scraps, a single slice of fried aubergine, and 1 samosa cut into halves. Lamb Briyani was quite delicious.
I am however most upset by the service.
The waiter only served us 1 single Papadam, whereby a normal Indian restaurant would have given a full basket. When asking for the bill the waiter refused to let us pay by card and said that we were NOT ALLOWED to. The table in front of us clearly paid by card even though their bill was cheaper.

Read moreI think that I have left bad review by mistake initially, because the experience in the restaurant was great.
The food was great, but I am non-Indian customer, so take that into consideration :) Shari paneer was DELICIOUS, I wanted to eat it sooo much, as there are no proper Indian restaurants in my country/city. And after almost five years of wanting to it again, when I tried it, it didn't disappoint me at all.
And the service was amazing, as the man working there (I don't know if he even owns the restaurant, as he seemed that invested) - he was charming and charismatic, and just great with making us feel great, while not being to pushy.
I would go back again without thinking, if business or pleasure take me to...
