Zero stars!!! The worst experience I've had at any restaurant. I tried to give this place 3 chances and each time, they did a worst job than the last. The first time, my order was completely botched and so was my friends. The waitress was also so rude and got mad at me for asking for water instead of a shake or soda. The second time, I really wanted some fries and the one thing I ordered, got charged for but never received. Then when I brought it up, straight attitude from the waitress. The last time I went topped the cake. I was so hungry and my two friends wanted to get food from there. I was already scarred from the last two times attempting to eat here so I was skeptical. When we were seated, the hostess was immediately rude and sat us 3 way to the right, in the back by the bar/kitchen side. There was no one on that whole side of the restaurant and on the other side were a bunch of locals. Did she not want us sitting by them for some reason? Then, the waitress comes and instant attitude. She basically throws the menus on the table, I was about to ask for water but she couldn't be bothered to take the drinks right then. She walks off and we wait 10 mins for her to come back. One of my friends asked for something specific on the menu and she went to "go check" if they had it. Mind you, it was like 1200pm. That whole thing takes her another 15 mins. When she does come back, we ordered drinks and she then takes another 10 mins to bring them, and to top it off my cup was dirty. I was so upset and grossed out by both the timeliness and nasty water cup that I walked out. Everytime I had went, the hostesses were always so rude as well. Like the moment they heard one of my friends speaking English or attempting to ask for a table in the local language , it was an issue After that, anytime someone has brought up this restaurant I tell them never to go. I get one time being a waitress having a bad day, but every single experience there was terrible. Never EVER going...

I really wanted to like this place. It gives me diner nostalgia reminiscent of establishments I’ve eaten at in America and it definitely serves that vibe perfectly. The menu is easy to follow and looks amazing. The food, unfortunately though, is terrible. I ordered chili nachos as an appetizer. They come out looking amazing in a little cast iron skillet, pickled jalapeños, tortilla chips, and hearty looking chili topped with nacho cheese sauce. They also came out cold. The chili may have had meat in it but I can’t really say for certain because of all the red kidney beans. Funny enough they call it chili con carne but don’t follow a traditional recipe. I don’t think the recipe they use has cumin or chili powder in it so the chili was cold and gelatinous with a sweet tomato flavor. The tortilla chips were off putting because they were like a Dorito but without Dorito flavor more salty/sweet, not sure what the flavor was supposed to be, could have potentially been great had they been warm. I had a prime cheese burger come as the entree. It was a beautiful burger with a tasty brioche bun and fresh arugula, the toppings were delicious but the burger tasted like freezer burn and half was pink and cold. The menu says it was supposed to be served with coleslaw which didn’t make an appearance but there were homemade pickles that were well past their prime in freshness. Refrigerator pickles are great for a few days but I could tell they made these two weeks ago or more. Whoever owns this restaurant knows what an American diner is supposed to look like but has zero idea what American diner food is supposed to taste like. What a nice food we had...AT MY HOME because here we didnt get any for over one and a half hour! Very very DISSAPOINTING and rude. Me and my wife came here for the first time last night. We were seated fast but then the time travel kicked in. We were there at 19:00h. We waited 15 minutes for someone to come to us so we can order, after we ordered starter and two burgers with drinks we waited another 15 minutes for starter and drinks to arrive. We talked and didn't notice that it was now about an hour since we ordered burgers! Because they were still time traveling with the waiter probably. One waiter came to us and asked if everything is ok in which i respond that is not and that we are waiting still. He just said ok, turned around and left. We waited another 15 minutes because burgers were probably getting close to Earth and year 2025 now with time machine. The waiter that took our orders came to us, i told him what is happening. Burgers were orbiting around Earth now probably. He said that he will check and probably went back to time machine himself. We waited another 20 minutes and he returned! Good for him! But he said that we have to wait some more. No explanation or regret that the customer is waiting one hour and half for two burgers. We said that we are leaving, he still didn't show any sign of regret, just a simple Sorry. What would happened if we order something for 5-6 persons, I would get my retirement before the food probably. We would never come here again and be sure to tell our experience to people. At least a lot of people is looking at my food reviews here on google. And i had to joke a little in this review because the service there...

So a few friends and I decided to have some breakfast and was recommended to try this place for an American style breakfast. Service I have been in Germany for 2 years and this is one of the worst places I have been to. Very questionable service and hygiene standards were witnessed here. Once we sat down it took at least 30 minutes to order and 30 minutes to receive our food. One order was completely forgotten and never received. I saw 4 instances of questionable hygiene practices. 1. Servers would pick up bread with their hands to put on customers plate (house bread) and then wipe it on their jeans and cleaning other tables without washing their hands, 2. Cooks would put the receipt in the plate of food which caused the server to reach into each plate of food to retrieve it, 3. Servers would leave dirty plates on the table after customers leave for over 30 minutes and 4. I took a bite out of a pork sausage I ordered that was completely cold. I informed the server and it was taken and reheated on the grill which is normally not allowed.Whoever the manager is needs to properly fix this among the issues with long wait times for anything. Food I ordered the French Toast, 3 eggs scrambled with cheese, and pork sausage. Scrambled eggs didn't have cheese, pork sausage was cold, but the french toast was ok. Decent flavor just not real Canadian Maple syrup as the menu states. Recommendation Stay away from this place until their hygiene practices are fixed, management, and service are up to par. I will give positive feedback as the atmosphere and diner feel was good and pleasant.

Reserved a seat for 5:30 on a Thursday. Arrived and was promptly seated. Waitress arrived promptly and took our drink order. Then arrived quickly and we ordered the main course. The soft drink sodas as noted on the menu are over priced. The manager on a previous review stated that the price was high because of the economy. You have a 0.33l can of soda for 3.60€! No dear manager you are GREEDY. Get something not in a can. We ordered one of the teas and while the portion was inadequate the tea was fine. The food to drink ratio is rather skewed where you will run out of drink very quickly. No refills unless it's coffee in the morning. For the appetizer we got the mozzarella sticks which were alright nothing exciting there. Sauce was good. I believe we ordered the tomato sauce. There are ALOT of Flys 🪰 suppose they gotta eat too. However the place was very clean. I will say the atmosphere music was more modern than American Diner. The food arrived 30 mins later. We order the Goat Cheese Chicken Burger which was very messy and did not stay together. Just another too tall burger. The food was fine and fresh. The portion sizes for the food was good. Tried one of the freaky milkshakes and it was just OK a bit thin. Rule of thumb if it goes up the straw fast you made it wrong. I look forward to trying different food. Overall the service was great and I will be returning a second time to give my final inspection.

Ich bestellte mir einen Burger u.a. mit frischen Pilzen. Der Burger kam und ich stellte fest: keine Pilze auf dem Burger. Ich habe dann die Bedienung darauf hingewiesen und gebeten mir bitte Pilze nachzuliefern, kann ja mal passieren. Antwort: "es gibt keine Pilze mehr, denn ansonsten hätten wir ihrer Frau ja auch den Salat mit Grillgemüse bringen können..."?! Offensichtlich waren also etliche Gemüsesorten aus... Warum man allerdings dann eine Bestellung zu einem Burger entgegen nimmt OHNE darauf zu verweisen, dass keine Pilze mehr da sind oder man wenigstens bei der Zubereitung das Fehlen eben jener Zutat feststellt und beim Kunden nachfragt, bleibt aber ein Rätsel: der Burger wird serviert, als wäre alles wie bestellt.... Die Bedienung bot mir dann 20% Nachlass auf den Burger an und ich meinte, dass ich ihn dafür dann nehmen würde (2,58€ Preisnachlass auf 12,90€). Was aus meiner Sicht auch überhaupt nicht geht: der Burger liegt auf einer von außen bedruckten Pommes-Tüte auf. So eine Tüte mag vielleicht geeignet sein, DARIN Pommes zu transportieren, kommt die Pommes ja nicht mit dem Druck in Kontakt, aber den Kunden auf dem Druck schneiden zu lassen und ich esse das dann mit? Sicherlich nicht. Wobei man von schneiden, mit diesen Messern, sicher nicht reden kann, denn mit den Messern lässt sich nichts schneiden, dafür sind sie einfach zu stumpf, zumindest bin ich beim Burger-Bun damit gescheitert. Zurück zum Preisnachlass: beim Bezahlen half der offensichtlich neuen Angestellten ein anderer Kollege. Wir verwiesen darauf, dass sie den Preisnachlass von 20% auf den Burger nicht vergessen solle, was sie kommentierte mit: "Ja, 10%". Wir erinnerten sie an die Zusage von 20%, woraufhin sie meinte, dass die Chefin jetzt aber nur 10% geben könnte... Peinlicher geht es wohl kaum: es wurden 20% angeboten und ich habe den Burger unter den Umständen so behalten. Wenn ihre Mitarbeiter fälschlicherweise falsche Zusagen machen, wir reden hier von 1,29€, dann klären sie es bitte mit diesen selbst. Wenn ich das vorher gewusst hätte, hätte sie den Burger wieder mitnehmen können. Das so ein Entgegenkommen aber generell nicht gewünscht ist, hat dann ihre Mitarbeiterin und wir, von ihrem Mitarbeiter erfahren, der seine Kollegen gemaßregelt hat und meinte, dass sie solche Rabatte nicht mehr anbieten soll. Peinlich, nicht nur für die Kollegin. Zum Ambiente: wir saßen draußen, ein kleiner, Flyer mit Angeboten stand in einem kleinen Korb mit Gewürzen, der Flyer war innen und außen fettig. Die Sitzkissen haben definitiv auch schon bessere Zeiten gesehen, ebenso der Sanitärbereich, der arg in die Jahre gekommen ist... Der Essbereich innen selbst war ganz nett eingerichtet, dort saßen viele Familien mit Kindern, allerdings roch der komplette Innenbereich so, als würde die Küchenabluft nicht richtig funktionieren, zumindest habe ich so einen intensiven Küchengeruch in noch keinem anderen Restaurant im Speisebereich wahrgenommen. Gut, dass wir draußen saßen. So oder so: ein Mal und nie wieder. P.S.: ich dachte immer, an den Gläsern, an denen Wasser und Softdrinks ausgeschenkt werden, müssten Eichmarken zu sehen sein oder liege ich da falsch? Dachte ich zumindest immer... Ich konnte weder an dem Wasserglas meiner Frau, noch an meinem Eisteeglas einen solchen entdecken. Das Wasserglas soll ja 300ml. haben und das Eisteeglas 400ml. Das hätte ich auch gerne so an den Gläsern gelesen...
