Klauprecht — Restaurant in Karlsruhe

We stopped at Klauprecht for a quick coffee while passing through Karlsruhe.

It was full but it had a nice, laid-back atmosphere with good cakes and drinks.

We ordered for us and the older kid and asked if they could warm a baby food jar in a microwave for our 6 months old. Surprisingly, they refused as they do not warm brought along food - even though it was baby food in a purchased jar. Initially, they also refused to bring hot water so I can do it myself. After an odd discussion, they brought some hot water.

All-in-all: hip coffee, but too hip...

We were just passing by and spontaneously decided to stop for a coffee and a cake. Inside, it was almost full snd a bit noisy, so we decided to seat outside. The cold weather did not stopped us from experiencing the new place. We had an amazing cappucino and a latte machiato as well as two pieces of cake. Both very tasty! The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you go by car, parking can be a challenge but not impossible 8n the surrondings. Definitely a place to go again and try the nice variety of breakfast options that looked amazing...

Had a coffee here before going to Europabadhallen and decided to come back for lunch afterhaving spent 2 hours in the swimming pools. The coffee (americano) I choose was not very great, however my husband's espresso came was as good as what we get in Italy. As we arrived late there were only panini left for lunch, but those were perfect. We even tried a piece of cake (cherry crumble cake) which was worth cooming back. If I ever go back to Karlsruhe I might come back to...
