The menu seemed to have a focus on Italian but I was craving Schnitzel.
Came just as they opened and am glad to have a seat easily. The restaurant is cosy and warm and the staff are so friendly and nice. While they speak limited English, the menu comes with English text and they try their best with whatever they can.
Ordered a Bruschetta, Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln, and a Tiramisu.
The tomato salsa on the bruschetta was lovely, taste of freshness, tangy and appetizer. I didn't like the base though, wished it was on toasted sourdough instead of pizza base. The Schnitzel came with a salad with a sweet and sour balsamic dressing on fresh greens. Had I known it came with salad, I would have skipped the bruschetta.
The salad was perfect to ease the saltiness in the Schnitzel but having said so, the Schnitzel was perfect. Right thickness of lean pork, thinly breaded, fried to crisp without oozing oil. The onions and Bratkartoffeln further enhanced the experience. The onions were a little salty but that was balanced by the baby potatoes that were crusty on the outside yet soft and fluffy on the inside.
Was super full by then but saw the reviews on dessert and decided on the Tiramisu and I'm glad it didn't disappoint. First time having Tiramisu topped with chocolate sauce instead of cocoa powder and along with whipped cream. The whipped cream surprisingly balanced the sweetness of the chocolate sauce and cake. Portion was huge but it was too...

Waiters and manager were very busy running in and out serving tables, and Iâve got the beer Iâve asked for within 5 minutes. But since then - no one bothered to stop by. Made eye contacts with the servers that passed by dozen times, but nothing⊠20 minutes passed and Iâve waived my hand and asked someone to order⊠I wish that from here itâll get better, but unfortunately the âspezialâ pizza was just meh. Very little pepperoni and mushrooms, and enough peppercini all around. Dough was well baked, but overall taste - just average. Hoped that their home made tiramisu will be a nice compensation, with a nice shot of espresso and now the place was already half empty. Espresso arrived after a couple of minutes, and 10 minutes later reminded the waitress of the tiramisu. She said itâll arrive soon⊠Too bad the espresso was long gone before the tiramisu arrived. As you can see in the picture, the tiramisu was a nice portion and fairly tasty, but never had a tiramisu with fruit sauce and blueberries⊠thought and believe it should be coffee / cocoa scented and flavored. Anyway, what I could see during all that time is very nice plated dishes moving around, nice portions and fair pricing, but the overall experience was...
Read moreGood Service- Nice Ambiance- Not so great Food Quality. For the area it is in (industrial/ airport) the atmosphere is really transforming. Eating outside on the patio you wouldn't even think you are in the industrial part of Frankfurt. The tables are quality, sturdy and stable, the umbrellas make you feel like your in German Beer Garden. The staff was very friendly, spoke English and attended to us and our baby in a very kind manner. The only down side was the food quality. We had the calamari, the Chicken with spinach cream sauce penne pasta and the bruschetta. The pasta was well cooked and the cream spinach sauce tasted great, however the chick tasted over cooked and "stale". The calamari was late coming out but wasn't bad... however the salad it came with was soggy and wilted. Overall it has potential but it was not great! Might be a good place for drinks outside (if your in this area... but I wouldn't go out of your way to visit...
