Las Tapas — Restaurant in Krefeld

It was a long day traveling and I hadn’t eaten in I don’t know how many hours so I was starving. I have been to Krefeld several times and this place is always recommended to me. I finally got here as I was staying at the Krefelder and it was a 5 minute walk. I was politely greeted by not just one but 2 people when I walked in, not in the eager want to make a Euro way, in the nice cordial, I want you to feel comfortable here kind of way with smiles and pleasant voices. I ordered a sangria which was nice, nothing special to be honest but it was refreshing on a hot day. For food I ordered the PIMIENTOS MARINADOS sweet red peppers with garlic and olive oil, it was a full pepper cut into strips, no skin. Tasty. The MARISCADA A LA PLANCHA was amazing. I have had octopus many times but this was the most tender octopus I have ever had, and the salmon was perfectly cooked and delicious with just a touch of fresh squeezed lemon on it. The dish also came with baby clams, muscles, calamari, and 4 prawns. All cooked to perfection and delicious! For desert I had the Santiago Tort an almond cake, dense and packed with flavor topped with caramel and served with a scoop of ice cream. Of course it was awesome too. I want to say 4.5 stars due to a wobbly table with a weird construction that I kept hitting my leg on, I moved my chair and had a better view out the window so we’ll call that even, not anything spectacular for decorations, simple, comfortable, feels like your go to neighborhood spot, and there were a lot of locals coming in and out for drinks, a quick bite, or to pick up food to take home or somewhere else. I would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for good food, a small bite, a delicious dinner, a quick drink, refreshing cocktail, or to satisfy that sweet craving with something a little different. Unter meinen Freunden zähle ich als kritischer Mensch und bin die Anlaufstelle für Restaurant Empfehlung... hätte mir im Juni einer erzählt, dass ein Restaurant aus Krefeld unter meinen "da musst du unbedingt gegessen haben" schafft und zu mindestens 2 mal im Monat Pflicht programm ... hätte ich diese Person für verrückt erklärt...

Ich lege hohen Wert auf Guten Service und gutes Essen. Das Essen kann gut sein, ist der Service nichts bleibt das einfach in Erinnerung.

Als wir zum ersten Mal Spontan da waren. War das Restaurant aussen gerappelt voll, dennoch wurden wir exzellent beraten und bedient. Gerade bei Wein Empfehlungen bin ich sehr kritisch. Aber das Essen und auch der Wein war perfekt. Das komplette Team ist super freundlich und auch der Chef ist mal wirklich ein vorbildlicher Chef , er versteht seine Gäste zu binden. Jeder Tisch wird mehrfach persönlich besucht und begrüßt. Er ist sehr nett kommunikativ und versteht wie sich seine Gäste wie Freunde fühlen und nicht nur wie ein Gast der was bestellt...

Alle Tapas sind sehr gut und trotz grosser Auswahl gibt es noch tagesempfehlungen die man immer probiert haben muss. Alles ist qualitativ perfekt , schmeckt vorzüglich und als tapas Bar eine Perfektion der meeresfrüchte wo manch gehobenes Restaurant nicht mithalten kann...

Wer sich hier über Preis beschwert sollte dann bitte auch bei McDonalds bleiben und Platz für die Gäste lassen die diese Tapas Bar wirklich zu schätzen wissen. Ich war mit verschiedene Freunden da Alle waren begeistert.

Meine absolute Empfehlung das Rumpsteak, der pulpo und die babycalamari ...

Ein Muss sind die aioli und das Creme brulee (normalerweise hasse ich dieses dessert, ist mir zu langweilig, aber hier verzichte ich lieber auf eine Tapas nur damit dieses dessert irgendwie noch reinpasst)

Das Ambiente ist zwar nicht spanisch urig aber trotzdem innen sehr schön. Wir sitzen am liebsten auf der innenterrasse ... hier vergisst man das man Krefeld ist und denkt man ist im Urlaub in einer kleinen schönen Gasse geniesst den Flair...

Delicious food. Great service. Good value for money. We reserved two tables for a group of 9 people. When we arrived our numbers had swelled to 14. The staff were very accommodating and accepted us without complaint, even though they were busy (popularity is always a good sign of a good restaurant). To help speed things up the owner suggested that he/his team selected the tapas to share whilst our main courses were prepared. The service was fast and efficient; our glasses were never empty, and the portion sizes left nobody feeling hungry. Next time I return to Krefeld, this place will certainly be on my...
