Cafe Del Sol Krefeld — Restaurant in Krefeld

A Friend of mine whom I have not seen in years and myself along with our very restaurant friendly Dogs went here. She already been to another Cafe del Sol in Mönchengladbach and was very interested in how the Krefeld branch was. We arrived at 3pm and it was hardly busy with a very relaxing and friendly atmosphere.

Our waitress was super friendly, caring and attentive. My Beer Glas was never empty for long neither was my friends wine Glas. After I saw some people's order of fries I had to order some myself and they where totally crispy and yummy we later had a half Meter long Pizza with Shrimp.. alsof very nice! Later on some more Waiters attended the ever growing crowd, they also been equally friendly and asked if we had all the drinks we needed or wanted and always an ear for any questions or requests from guests on other tables. My friend and I also noticed how good looking the staff was .. not that good looks are something that makes a good waitress or waiter! The crowed in the place was a very relaxed mix of friends meeting for drinks or dinner, families with kids and or dogs and couples on Dates as well as some folks for Business. I can't wait to go there again in the spring or summer when I'm back in town. Big thanks to the waitress and the rest of the staff making this night out a great experience. The place is very modern and tastefully done inside and out.. for smoking guests they have ashtrays on the porches and you can relax on a swing. Only reason for the missing star is because when it got busy later on it was getting too noisy for my liking but not that bad that I wouldn't return.. it's just...

The food was excellent, we had the vegan Schnitzel with Hollandaise and a fresh orange juice. The quantity is huge - we split one order between two people and were still quite full afterwards. The only small grouch is that the staff seemed too busy - nobody greeted us at the door, and we had to wait before someone told us we could "sit anywhere we liked". We took a table by the window, and ten minutes later were asked to move because it was already reserved (there were absolutely no markers or other indicators of this, so we couldn't have known). Mahlzeit zusammen. Heute Mal wieder ein Ausflug mit der Freundin unternommen zum Kaffe del Sol in Krefeld. Uns wurde gesagt das das Frühstück wohl sehr gut sein soll (kann ich leider nicht beurteilen) wir waren auf jedenfall zum Mittag hier. Es ist nicht wirklich voll dennoch mussten wir 10-15 Minuten warten bis das erste Mal die service Kraft am Tisch war. Wir hatten uns bis dahin schon alles ausgesucht sowohl Getränke als auch essen. 10 Minuten später kommen die Getränke, es wurde eine falsche Flasche Wasser gebracht service Kraft wohl falsch gebucht nicht weiter schlimm kann passieren wurde auch gefragt ob sie sie austauschen soll. Dann kommt die Vorspeise damit war alles in Ordnung über Geschmack lässt sich ja bekanntlich nicht streiten. Dann aber das beste während wir die Vorspeise essen und noch nicht fertig sind wird unser Hauptgang einfach schön dazu gestellt so schnell wie die Dame weg war konnte man nicht Mal was sagen..... Für mich kein Problem ich war mit der Vorspeise fertig meine Freundin hat aber noch ihren Salat gegessen.... Es wurde nicht gefragt ob der Hauptgang fertig gemacht werden darf oder sonst was es wurde einfach abgestellt... No go für mich der selbst aus der Gastro kommt. Leider wurde aber auch beim Hauptgang etwas nicht gebucht ich hatte den burger bestellt mit doppelt Fleisch leider war es nur ein normaler burger. Die rippchen waren leider garnix sie waren weder zart noch saftig sie waren einfach zäh und trocken. Leider konnte man auch nichts sagen weil die Bedienung ungefähr 30 Minuten lang nicht an unserem Tisch war weder gefragt hat ob alles in Ordnung ist noch sonst was. Für uns war es der letzte Besuch in diesem lokal.
