Indian City Grillhaus Leipzig — Restaurant in Leipzig

1 star for ruining my night. We were just crossing across the town when I saw that this restaurant has good reviews and decided to take away. We took thali. First it took forever to prepare the meal. After 40 mins or so when food was ready we got to know that payment will be done by cash only so we had to go look for atm. They could have told so during ordering or placed that in big fonts on the door or menu card. Imagine going through above on a cold rainy night with a cranky baby. Next to that when we reach our hotel with food there is no rice in the package. They missed adding it and only 1 naan to be shared between 2 people. No cutlery no tissues nothing . Thank god for a muffin that I saved that I did have something to eat . Next to it food was also ok tasting. What happened was entirely restaurants fault. I will not return to this place neither recommend it . Edit After owners response- not accepting their mistake of not providing rice packages and enough bread .. this review would have been entirely different if enough naan/rice was provided.since I had to go to bed hungry I gave 1 star and not because I had to...

Worst Indian restaurant in Leipzig. Service is stupidly late as there were no customers. What I order came raw (uncooked) and without curry. On top of everything, staff is ill behaved. Waiter doesn't even listen to your request or opinion. Lastly, it's utterly expensive , 20€ for chicken and veggie dish, which is double than other restaurants .I recommend not visiting...

Das Indian City Grillhaus in Leipzig bietet ein gemischtes Erlebnis, das insgesamt zu einer Bewertung von drei Sternen führt. Zunächst das Positive: Das Gebäude selbst ist von außen sehr ansprechend. Allerdings trüben einige Aspekte das Gesamterlebnis.

Die Bedienung im Restaurant ließ leider zu wünschen übrig, sie war nicht besonders aufmerksam. Auch mussten wir recht lange auf unsere Getränke warten. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt betrifft die Atmosphäre im Restaurant. Die Musik im Erdgeschoss war störend laut und der Barkeeper wechselte die Lieder willkürlich, was die Stimmung beeinträchtigte. In der oberen Etage war der Lärm aus der benachbarten Tische deutlich hörbar, was ebenfalls als störend empfunden wurde. Auch das Lichtambiente im Restaurant war nicht besonders einladend.

Das Essen selbst war von Gericht zu Gericht unterschiedlich – von gut bis okay. Bei meinem Hühnchencurry war leider viel Fett auf der Soße, was den Genuss erheblich minderte.

Insgesamt vergebe ich drei Sterne, aber basierend auf unserer Erfahrung würden wir wahrscheinlich nicht noch einmal dort...
