Paps — Restaurant in Leipzig

Paps is hands down the best restaurant in Leipzig. Qui is the sweetest dude and the food is absolutely delicious. We first fell for the bahn mi sandwiches and wontons. The pork and veggie versions are both excellent. They then started making tacos and burgers. You will not find a better burger in Leipzig or likely Germany. Smash burgers are the best! Oh and we just had a Paloma cocktail, which was also delicious and made with fresh grapefruit. In a town where customer service is often lacking, this place is a haven. We visited Leipzig for almost two weeks, when we went out for food my kids and I agreed that we will go to “Paps”. We went multiple times because we love the ambiance and food. My kids agreed “Paps” has the best cheeseburger ever, we live in the United States and they have tried lots of cheeseburgers before. We likewise love the Wan Tan Soup, for my kids adjusted without the spices. I was amazed by the delicious sandwiches which are incredibly fresh and tasty, and yes, I tried them all. Angelockt durch die überaus positiven Bewertungen haben wir Paps besucht. Nach dem Essen in einigen der besten Burgerläden Deutschlands (Goldies, BBB etc.) waren die Erwartungen auf Grund der überaus positiven Bewertungen hier eigentlich kaum zu erfüllen.

Gute Smash Burger sind selten - in Leipzig erst recht - und so waren wir mehr als neugierig. Und was sind wir froh dass unsere Erwartungen erfüllt ja sogar deutlich übertroffen wurden.

Der perfekte Besuch begann bereits mit dem absolut perfekten und freundlichen Service. In dieser Form erlebt man das sehr selten. Das Ambiente ist dem Konzept angemessen.

Und dann kamen die Burger: perfekt gebratenes Patty mit knuspriger Oberfläche, einfache aber perfekt passende Saucen, Zwiebel und Gurke und natürlich Käse - mehr muss auf einen perfekten Smash Burger nicht drauf. Und auch das Bun ist absolut perfekt. Weich, buttrig - einfach ein perfekter Match zum Rest.

Man merkt dass hier Menschen mit Leidenschaft am Werk sind - egal ob in der Küche oder im Service!

Auf der Suche nach dem besten Burger Deutschlands liegt für mich die Messlatte nun um einiges höher!

Und auch die Preise sind bei der Qualität mehr als angemessen.
