McDonald's — Restaurant in Mannheim

This was second time visiting this place for breakfast because we are working in the area for the week. The first time was on 30 July at 0730. The lady at the counter taking orders was extremely rude but the four of us ordered our breakfast and went on our way. The second time was today 2 August at 0730. The same lady was at the counter. I attempted to order the big breakfast in my very bad German. Lots of questions were asked and a lot of misunderstanding happened, so I decided with an easier order and told the lady I didn’t want the big breakfast but the McMuffin instead. She rang me up and charged me for both. She saw my confused look and asked if I wanted both. I told her just the McMuffin. She angrily muttered something I couldn’t understand and then proceeded to shake her head and mumble. At that point I lost it from her blatant lack of customer service and used a few choice words about keeping her food and walked off. We should have known that this wasn’t a good place to eat by the lack of customers in there. This lady needs a class on how to take care of customers. Go to the gas station next to it or the bakery/restaurant...

The place looks ok and it's clean, but the service might be under mc D standards for Germany. I've ordered my coffee to drink in, but was brought to me in a paper cup. I'm allergic to formaldehyde and I took it back to ask for a replacement. When I said "Excuse me, I've ordered my coffee to drink in", the answer was "Yes, and?". 😄😄😄 "And this is a takeaway, not a drink in" I said. "But we don't have ceramic cups" was the answer. I said "Look behind you, on the coffee machine". There were lots of ceramic cups stacked on it. Finally, seeing how ridiculous the situation was, he agreed to make another capuccino in a ceramic cup, like he should've done from the start. I don't get this kind of work ethics very often in...

A typical McDonalds experience. They have an outdoor area with a playground (that looks like it's seen better days). They have veggie options too, which is very welcome. Otherwise, everything you'd expect from McDonalds.
