Café Klatschmohn — Restaurant in Memmingen

Really lovely café run as a community project in combination with the Regens Wagner Stiftung.

There is always a choice of cakes, snacks including falafel and "Toast Hawaii", and a great drinks menu. I love their Eisschokolade, which is also very reasonably priced.

The decor is lovely, and they also sell a range of home decoration items which they frequently change to provide fresh interest.

It is absolutely my favourite café in Memmingen for a relaxing meet-up...

Standard Bavarian breakfast and lunch fare; comfortable environment inside, lovely garden with tables in the back. Rather mediocre push-button espresso drinks. Look elsewhere if you care about good coffee. Ein schnuckeliges Cafe in der Memminger Innenstadt. Parkplätze gibt es in der Nähe, aber kostenpflichtig. Dieses Cafe ist ein gelungenes Beispiel für Inklusion in einem Betrieb. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Kaffee und Kuchen (unterstelle mal, selbst gemacht) waren sehr lecker! Die Bestellung per ankreuzbarer Karte finde ich pfiffig und angenehm. Als ich dort war, war das Publikum gemischten Alters. An “besonderen“ Tagen sollte man vorher reservieren, da das Cafe nicht allzu groß ist.
