An Absolute Gem!

Restaurant Toscana is pure magic. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like old friends—warm, welcoming, and with the kind of hospitality that makes you feel right at home.

And the food? Incredible. Every dish was an explosion of flavor—perfectly cooked pasta, rich, creamy sauces, and seafood so fresh you’d think it had just leaped from the ocean onto your plate. The portions are huge, so come hungry! And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better… the desserts stole the show—decadent, dreamy, and absolutely unforgettable. Highly recommend the tiramisu!

I highly recommend anyone visiting Memmingen to go to the Toscana restaurant. They have the best ossobuco with risotto I've ever tasted. The environment has a very positive and welcoming energy. The staff are very cordial and kind. Owner Mrs. Berg was the kindest, most polite and welcoming person I have ever seen in front of a business. She makes you feel at home. Also ganz ehrlich, das Toscana ist für uns so ein bisschen der sichere Hafen geworden, wenn man einfach gut essen und sich wohlfühlen will. Ich war jetzt schon öfter da, mal zu zweit, mal mit der Familie, und es war jedes Mal einfach stimmig.

Der Laden hat so ne warme, gemütliche Atmosphäre – bisschen enger vielleicht, aber das gehört irgendwie dazu. Es fühlt sich italienisch an, ohne dass es übertrieben wirkt. Wenn man reinkommt, riecht’s meistens schon nach Ofen und Kräutern – und dann krieg ich direkt Hunger.

Die Pizza ist top. Nicht überladen, sondern genau richtig belegt, dünner Boden, knuspriger Rand – und vor allem: frisch. Bei den Nudelgerichten merkt man auch, dass da nicht einfach irgendwas lieblos aufgewärmt wird. Meine Favoriten sind die Penne all’arrabbiata oder die mit Gorgonzola – je nach Laune. Die Portionen sind nicht riesig, aber dafür passt’s geschmacklich jedes Mal.

Was ich auch sagen muss: Der Service ist echt sympathisch. Locker, freundlich, manchmal bisschen chaotisch, aber auf die charmante Art. Man fühlt sich einfach willkommen – ohne dass einem dauernd jemand auf die Nerven geht.

Wenn’s was zu bemängeln gibt, dann vielleicht, dass man bei vollem Haus bisschen Geduld mitbringen muss. Aber ganz ehrlich, lieber warte ich paar Minuten länger und krieg dann was Gutes, als dass alles...
