Berliner Döner — Restaurant in Munich

We were a group of Asians, born and raised in the States, and we speak perfect English. The owners themselves seemed to be immigrants, yet their racism toward minorities was so blatant that it ruined my morning.

In front of us was a French customer who didn’t speak English or German, and the owners were patient, kind, and took their time with him. But when it came to our turn, their attitude completely changed. We hesitated for just a second while trying to choose from 8 unfamiliar sauces, and instead of helping, they started yelling at us. When I couldn’t pick instantly, they simply refused to give me any sauce at all.

On top of that, the food was unbearably salty to the point where my tongue felt numb. We couldn’t even finish it and had to throw it away.

This was not just bad service, it was racism in action. Absolutely unacceptable. Please don’t waste your time...

Ich war vor paar Tagen dort und auch schon öfter ja sogar vor der Renovierung. Leider kann ich bestätigen das es nachgelassen hat. Als ich letztens dort war, war es sehr heiß, was die Arbeit ja sehr erschwert gerade in einem Dönerladen. Das muss man berücksichtigen jedoch war "freundlich" ein Begriff denn ich vermisst habe. Ich hatte 2 Dönner Teller bestellt. Der ältere Herr war äußerst lustlos und angewidert. Das war der Eindruck den ich von ihm hatte. Als der Junge Kollege übernommen hat war es besser und er konnte normal nett mit einem reden. Welche soße usw. Als ich da nach doppelten Tüten fragte weil ich mit dem Scooter unterwegs war und bei 2 Dönnerteller ja doch schon gut Gewicht zusammenkommt. Das wiederum bei fahren dann dafür sorgt dass die Tüten gerne reißen. Der Junge Kollege hat es sofort verstanden und leise sagte "ok, klar" Als der ältere das aber mitbekommen hat, hat er sich eingemischt und respektlos wie ein Lehrer mich 38 jährigen belehrt das er hier eine Papier-Tüte hat und das es doch ganz einfach zu tragen ist.... Und auch ziemlich unfreundlich gestikuliert hat. Ich hab lieber nichts gesagt. Die Stimmung war sehr angespannt. Ich hab jetzt paar Tage gewartet um mich zu beruhigen bevor ich ihnen Rezensionen schreibe. Das geht nicht und ich finde das ein solches Benehmen absolut unprofessionell ist auch in Anbetracht der Hitze und oder Stress. Ich werde nicht mehr extra zu euch fahren. Wenn ich nochmal bei euch esse dann nur weil ich keine Alternative gerade habe.
