DieCutlerei — Restaurant in Munich

I was there on Friday night with some colleagues. We were very well served and these are the pros and cons I found about this restaurant.

Pros: the place itself is super nice, big, with nice tables and very comfortable chairs. I ordered schnitzel with potatoes. The meat was very tasty, one of the best schnitzel I have ever eaten in my life. They also served us something incredibly tasty as a starter. I thought it was a very nice touch.

Cons: The schnitzel came accompanying with literally 4 mini potatoes, definitely not enough. I asked if they could bring me ketchup and mayonnaise and they charged me an extra 2€ !!!! I thought that was terrible, I never really went to a restaurant that charged me for that, just a fast food place.

Overall I recommend it. The atmosphere was nice and the food (despite the cons)...

Really cool new place in Munich East. Interesting concept with dining, drinking and dancing (extra DJ) opportunity. Great Barkeeper who was not just giving out drinks but also briefing us about the ingredients etc. (Guess if there were more people he wouldn't have time for this). One star deducted only because the price is a little high, even for Munich. Some cocktails...

Wir sind sehr interessiert an gutes Essen und passende Weine dazu, haben uns deshalb darüber gefreut ein "gutes" Lokal nahe am Hotel zu finden. Wir haben das Menü genommen mit Weinpaket dazu. Zusammenfassung ist, dass es eine schlechtes Preisleistungsniveau hat. Die Gerichte waren nicht besonderes im Geschmack, hatten kein Highlight und die Weine nichts besonderes. Schade! Ambiente war aber Top! Wir hatten das Gefühl, das hier mehr das Konzept und nicht das Essen im Fokus steht. Bedienung war bemüht aber nicht professionell- unterschiedliche Bedienung für jeden Gang und nicht alle haben gewusst, das wir das Weinpaket dazu bestellt hatten und wir mussten mit dem Gericht vor uns noch auf dem Wein warten. Zum ersten Gang wurde der Wein mit den Worten " und dazu ein trockenen weißwein " vorgestellt. Wir mussten selber nachfragen welche Traube und woher der Wein kommt, traurig.......Wenn jemand Interesse an einem guten Menü mit passende Wein dazu hat und mit gute Bedienung die auch die Gerichte und Weine.
