Bread factory Aumüller — Restaurant in Munich

Munich has many wonderful things, but options for breakfast on a Sunday are a rarity. With both indoor and outdoor seating in a stylish decor simply accents the quality of the food options. Cafe fare with a little extra, I found the yogurt and croissant breakfast to be of particularly good value. The large coffee is truly large, and as an American expat living in Germany, I do miss the American definition of a “large coffee”… but here I no longer miss my extra boost of caffeine.

Pro tip: there was a line on Sunday morning at 10am going out the door and into the parking lot (first impression was that was an excellent sign, as it’s not too common of a sight in Munich)… but after waiting in the line for five minutes I was informed by a very nice person in line that I was in the “bread to go” line, and there was a second line inside the restaurant for ordering food and coffee… so if you are there to eat, proceed to the line for the cash register near the back of the...

It used to be one of our favorite spots to go out with children in case there is a rainy day outside. But today I was absolutely stunt aber a worker complained that children who were playing at the children’s corner (!) are too loud. And they are disturbing people who sitting and working (!). Did I miss anything and you are having a coworking space in you cafe now? Since when working people are having preferences? You cannot have a reputation of a “great place to work in” and families friendly at the same time. Maybe it makes sense to close your Spielecke because children who are playing are not...

Went on a Sunday brunch here and ordered basics: croissant and brioche with one espresso. Espresso: really punchy, intense and flavorful. Served without water. Brioche: while pastry has nice, light and well-known smell, taste is flat. Croissant: really disappoints. Too airy, not buttery, also with flat taste. Super sized but only in exterior - you need to try real hard to find a taste in it.

Place is nice, stylish, easy reachable with public transport. Outside terrace is charming and cozy.

Bad luck this time. Maybe their pies are better.
