Café Pfefferminza — Restaurant in Munich

The cafe is really nice, cakes and drinks really good too. But every time I've been there, there were plenty of women with really young babies crawling all over the place, one baby was below our table eating the pieces of cake that fall on the floor from the plate of my daughter (no idea where the mum was and if she was looking), other 2 babies were blocking the door and the mums were not moving them to let us leave, the play area was full of mums standing or sitting on the mat and my daughter didn't have space to play (that is ironic, a play corner with no children playing but impossible to access it cause the mums are standing there instead of sitting on their chair), so we ate in a hurry and left. The staff is really nice, but I hope they can find a solution for the mums that think this is a playground where they can just leave their...

Unforunately, we had a disappointed experience this morning. We showed up with our two small kids before 10 with no reservation. The cafe was full. The personnel did not try to accomodate us either my waiting a few minutes or possibly to seat nearby the kids area... no they simply asked us to come back in 30 minutes when it was cold and not nice outside... and without any friendlyness or even a smile! I wonder if the owners have kids themself! I find this so sad to encounter no friendly people in such place (and of course, no...

Wir waren gestern Nachmittag dort. Die eine Servicekraft war so fleißig alles unter einen Hut zubekommen. Echt Respekt. 💪🏻(Kollegin war krank) Der Kaffee, Kuchen und Crêpe waren sehr lecker. Auch der hausgemachte Eistee 🤤

Jedoch find ich räumlich das Café nicht so gut. Einrichtung und Farben sind schön, aber es ist wahnsinnig laut. Mit einer abgehängten Decke oder schon Vorhängen wäre es gleich angenehmer.

Zudem ist auf den Fotos und insta die Spieleecke viel schöner und zentraler integriert. Gestern war diese jedoch in einem Eck, welches von diversen Plätzen nicht gut einzusehen war. Auch war es für so viele Kinder recht klein. Malutensilien waren auch keine mehr zu finden. Der Platz auf den Bildern sieht großzügiger aus. Wir hatten reserviert für 3 Erwachsene und 6 Kinder. Wir bekamen einen Tisch mit 4 Stühlen… der Nachbartisch war größer und reserviert für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder die jedoch noch nicht sitzen konnten auch mit vier Stühlen… zwischen den Tischen war zudem wenig Platz so dass die Kinder schlecht durch kamen oder die Rückenlehne des Nachbar-Stuhles direkt an unserer Tischkante stieß. Vielleicht sollte hier nochmal ein Tisch raus genommen werden um das ganze wieder gemütlicher zu gestalten, auch wenn das weniger Umsatz bedeutet. Wenn es aber so bleibt würde ich nicht wieder kommen wollen.

Parkplätze waren um s Eck an der grossen Straße noch einige frei. Das Café selbst ist gut erreichbar...
