Eiscafé Riviera — Restaurant in Munich

I asked for Mango ice, one ball, it was dirty with chocolate and the man serving it took a the dirty part ( scoops are tiny by the way, they really give you just the ice scoop size and you pay for it 1.80). I asked if he could give me a clean scoop of mango ice cream and he looked annoyed asking me why? I said, because I don't want chocolate ice cream, I only want mango ice. I was alone with 4 kids and they went to sit to eat their miniscule expensive one scoop ice cream at a table in the shades as the sun was burning ( I had a 3 year old with me) ..a waiter came out telling me in a very unkind way that they couldn't sit because the tables are only for those who place an order at the table...there were many empty tables and anyone could have seen that it was very hard for me alone to manage the 4 boys and i did the ice cream break in order to have a sitting break from cycling in the heat..we wouldn't have stayed long anyway as the ice cream was soooo small and therefore quick to eat up...I said that we ate sitting last time we were there and nobody told us that we couldn't and that is why I bought the icecream. If I knew we couldn't eat sitting, I wouldn't have even bought it. They were rude and insisted that their boss does not allow it. I had to leave with the kids still eating their ice, walking with their bicycles to sit under the burning sun on a bench. I got so mad as I couldn t believe how they treated the kids, kicking them out from eating their tiny icecream in the shades, HORRIBLE service, zero empathy, quick to take your money and quick to kick you out.Never again. There is a better icecream place with better value, bigger and tastier icecream and ngood nice service close to parthnach platz. HORRIBLE SERVICE and...

If you love ice cream, steer clear of this place. Today here I had one of the worst ice creams I’ve ever had in my entire life! (this comes from someone who’s lived in Italy for 25 years and trust me I’ve eaten a lot of ice cream). The ice cream is made with a lot of artificial sugar and low quality ingredients. One particular flavor even smelled a bit suspicious, so it ended up in the bin. Also, it is way overpriced and the staff is really unfriendly and unprofessional, they handle the money and the ice cream with the same bare hands, very unhygienic. I absolutely loved my experience at Eiscafé Riviera ! The flavors were incredibly rich and authentic, with a perfect balance of creaminess and sweetness. I tried their homemade pistachio and salted caramel, and both were out of this world. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, making the visit even better.
