Our spot around the corner in the heart of Laim is where you still get some warm food until late. Coming back from Rome our fridge was crying for help so we stopped by here to try out the new menu. We found rich Buddha-bowls with #superfood inside and Zander and salmon Carpaccio with salad and fried prawns on top. The bowl was freshly made and the quinoa mixed with the cheese and olives had an intense taste, it was a good bowl but didn’t hammered us. The Carpaccio on the other side tasted light and fresh and was well flavoured with lemon and oil, but we noticed immediately to be missing the prawns and got them after claiming them. We found it all to be a good idea to restore the menu and adapt it to the latest trends, you will find new dishes and interpretation of classics and the good old burgers and #schnitzel too. Laimers is also a place to get your lazy late breakfast, although it is often crowded and the menu is the classic Munich style That divides the options in cities (Los Angeles, Paris, Stockholm ..) Service: Very fast and nice, made us feel welcome and real guests. The prices are also fair and you always find something that suits your taste. You can try it out in the summer and enjoy the Biergarten on the outside! It really reminds you of an old Wirtshaus..

As you enter the place the friendly staff greats you and brings you to your table. People chatting and laughing all around with all the twinkly lights and the amazing atmosphere. The decoration choice is top notch.
Me and a group of friends ordered dishes to share. A couple of burgers with french fries, Wiener Schnitzel with Rahmsoße and Cheesy Spätzel, a german specialty and a pumpkin soup. After a short amount of time the food arrived. The burgers were absolutely amazing. The crisp salad, the fresh tomatoes, the perfectly cooked meat and the creamy cheese just melted in my mouth. Don’t get me started about the french fries! The sizes of the dishes are huge here. The Schnitzel was very nice too. But in my opinion too strong and cheesy. The thing that might have ruined this review a bit was the soup. It was way too salty! You couldn’t even enjoy it. We complained and they offered to make us a new one or bring us some extra bread, but we politely declined her generous offer. Vegetarian dishes are included aswell.
Now let’s move on to the service. The service is attentive, friendly and know how to deal with customers. In terms of prices Laimers offers reasonable prices speaking of quality and the amount of food they serve.
Overall my experience here was very fine. I’m quite satisfied....
Read moreLaimers is a libely neighborhood restaurant offering generous indoor seating and a spacious outdoor beer garden. The atmosphere is pleasant, though the wooden chairs, lacking cushions, are not designed for long periods of comfort.
Service is efficient, and the menu presents a broad mix of options, from fresh salads and bowls to burgers, traditional Bavarian dishes, and even tarte flambee. The meatballs with dark beer sauce and potato salad were tasty: the meatballs tender and flavorful, the sauce rich and balanced, and the potato salad carefully seasoned without excessive acidity.
Pricing, however, feels somewhat elevated, with bowls at €17.90 and burgers around €15 without sides, placing the value proposition slightly below expectations.
Overall, Laimer delivers a varied menu, well-prepared dishes, and efficient service, though comfort and pricing leave room for...
