Really bad customer service, the food is nothing extraordinary.
First we had an issue for making a reservation for 10 people. On the phone whoever picked up thought we were joking and said “no, full house”. She hang up. We called back and she said we are better not joking. We arrived on the “full house” day and it was empty. They have a “no bank card payments allowed” note at the door, one of us saw it and had to go to an ATM to get cash. Minutes later they just removed the hanging note. Seems like they accept payment with card whenever they want.
I ordered a dish with shrimps (I thought it would come with rice), once the dish arrived I saw it was with noodles. I asked the waitress about it (older woman) and she started yelling at me instead. Maybe I did not order the right number, I would not have had any issues on admitting that I made a mistake. It was her reaction that really bothered me. She could have showed me the menu and showed me I was wrong, but not. She decided to be verbally aggressive. At the end I did not eat the noddles because they did not have a good taste at all.
I would not recommend this place, I have never experienced such a bad service in a restaurant...
Read moreThis venue is a true hidden gem. We walked in with rather low expectations but left an hour later singing its praises. The food was a tasty and healthy fusion of several south Asian styles (a clever mix of Thai, Vietnamese and southern Chinese). The ingredients in every dish were fresh and crisp. We tried the Szechuan chicken and Chicken/Beef sizzling dish with ginger. Both were loaded with fresh ingredients, well presented and cooked with a superb balance of light but tasty sauce. We also ordered egg rolls to start. The rolls were a genuine, home made dish (not the bland defrosted commerical rolls you’d normally find in suburban restaurants). Portions for every dish were also generous without being excessive and nothing was presented drowning in sauce. This is great home style Asian cooking at a decent price. Located less than 100 metres from Erberhardshof U-bahn Station. Easily the best Asian we’ve eaten in Germany in the last five years (and hands down the best we’ve found in Nuremberg after years of...
Read moreI was looking for Asian food and came here based on the good reviews. But it was such a disappointment.
It's not authentic Chinese food for sure! We ordered Gong Bao Chicken and the dish was swimming in thick cornstarch sauce, likely from a packaged sauce. Gong Bao Chicken should be cooked dry and with dried red chilli. What i ate was soaked in thick sauce and there wasn't any dried chilli. We also had stir-fried pork with vegetables but it was at best average.
All those reviewers who rated it highly had not tasted authentic Asian food.
The food is cooked by Vietnamese so perhaps the Vietnamese dishes...
