This place has potential. It was probably better in the past but like many of the local businesses they have trouble finding enough people to work. There was one waitress serving about a dozen tables and another that just delivered food and bussed tables. I was alone and waited about 10min to get a menu, another 15min before I could order and another 20 to get a burger and a drink. Totally understandable considering how busy they were. However, I ordered and pointed at the picture of the burger I wanted and asked for it by name. What I got was the “Classic Burger“ which I had completely overlooked on the menu. It took another 15min for me to get the waitress’s attention. When she finally can to the table and I brought it to her attention she told me that it was the one I ordered. I could have let it go and just accepted it but the patty was an obvious frozen one that was pan fried beyond recognition. I paid for the fries I ate while waiting, my drink, and left. The food was great. It was a family outing at the restaurant. Two of us ordered the Schnitzel Buffet, which was great, except for the waiting time. Almost everyone was waiting and the kitchen was very very slow to meet the requirements. The food itself was great. Käseschnitzel, Senfschnitzel, Wiener Schnitzel, Hühner Schnitzel, Spätzle, Pommes, Bratkartoffeln: everything was tasty. The kids ordered Burgers Crunchy Chicken and Käse burger. They were awesome. Eher Kneipe als Restaurant. Ich kann die teilweise sehr guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Wir waren in den Herbstferien im Globus zu Gast. Wir hatten kurzfristig reserviert. Als wir ankamen, wurden wir durch den Hauptraum in eine Art Hinterzimmer geführt. Dort wurde uns zu dritt ein Platz auf einem zerschlissenen 2-er Sofa mit Couch-Tisch angeboten. Da wir essen wollten, haben wir dies abgelehnt. Wir bekamen dann einen anderen, sehr kleinen Tisch neben dem Hinterausgang. Die Atmosphäre hatte etwas von Abstellkammer. Wo man hinschaute blickte man fast nur auf irgendwelchen Kram/Gerümpel. Ein anderes Paar saß eingezwängt neben dem Billardtisch. Ich kann verstehen, dass durch COVID eine besondere Situation für die Gastronomen herrscht, jedoch hätte ich mir dann bei der Reservierung einen Hinweis darauf gewünscht. Vorne im Hauptraum ist das Ambiente viel besser.

Zum Essen: ja, es schmeckt und man wird satt. Wenn das der Anspruch ist, dann kann man nicht meckern. Ich erwarte allerdings mehr, wenn ich auswärts essen gehe. Unser Essen (Burger und Schnitzel mit Pommes) hätte auch ein gehobener Imbiss genauso gut hinbekommen. Für diese einfachen Gerichte war dann auch die Wartezeit zu lang. Fazit: zum Essen gehen mit schönem Ambiente und Genuss nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen, als Kneipe nur für ein Bier zum Fußball gucken ist es bestimmt ganz nett.
