6 Stars actually! It was perfect (and I am picky, you can check my other reviews, I am usually rather disappointed by restaurants in Germany...
Food was delicious and really authentic, similar to what I had in Georgia (it is rare ! Usually Georgian restaurants abroad are disappointing...). The staff was real Georgians and spoke Georgian.
We went with a big group of 10 and had lot of food to share, the Badrijani was okay (I cook them better though) but the Khachapuri were perfect, as they should be, right texture and right taste. Same with the Khinkali. I don't drink alcohol but people at the table liked the wine, they tried two and there one was better than the other.
The lamb soup was delicious !
The dessert was cheap which compensate the fact it was basic. The prices in general were really fair, so I spent more than 40+€ to try a bit of everything and was really more than full. (Other restaurants should take lessons from GEMO : you make more money when it is cheap, as we eat more !)
I will definitely come back ! Even if I live in Mainz.
Bad sides ? The service was very : "here are the cutlery, and the food in the middle of the table, deal with it yourself" for me is fine, I just want good food when I am in a restaurant and do not insist on being served but this "like at home" service might not be...

Our visit was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. Nobody greeted us when we arrived, and we had to approach the staff ourselves to be seated. The waitress informed us we had a 2-hour dining limit, which we were fine with. However, things went downhill from there.
We waited 35 minutes for someone to take our order, but no one ever came. The staff blatantly ignored us, prioritizing other tables, cleaning, and going about their tasks despite our attempts to get their attention. The service was nonexistent—absolutely appalling.
We never even got the chance to try the food because we were completely overlooked and had no choice but to leave. On top of that, the surroundings were unpleasant, with dirty tables and chairs that hadn’t been cleaned properly.
Service: 0/10. Food: no idea. Cleanliness: questionable.

Read moreNice traditional Georgian restaurant with friendly atmosphere and fast and perfect service. What I suggest to order is definitely Khinkali (georgian dumplings) with Tkemali sauce if you like to - please eat them right with hands, take the tail part and slowly bite the opposite in order not to get burned by hot filling, Imeruli (round dough cake filled with Georgian cheese), Kharcho-soup, Borjomi (famous mineral water from Georgia). There are many more tasty food, but for us it will be for the next time. And yes, once you do not drive a car as I did today, highly recommend to try Georgian Wine - Khvanchkara, Kindzmarauli or Saperavi. They all have distinct taste and realy tasty. Highly recommend to visit this restaurant with family, friends or colleagues. For the weekend try to book a table in advance to get a...
