Only decor is Indian, not the Food. Disappointing. Staying in Europe for last 12 years and I have had food in Indian restaurants all over Europe. This was one of the worst. The restaurant is nicely deocrated and gives a cosy feel which lifts the mood. Also the waitresses are dressed up in Indian attire. The Indian theme ends there. The service is poor, and the waitresses appear clueless of what they are serving. The menu boasts of a huge variety including Vegan and Ayurvedic specialities. I ordered "nimbu pani" and was given an overly sour glass of water with juice of 2 lemon squeezed into it. I ordered the Aurvedic dish "Veg kofta" curry thali. BIG MISTAKE. What was served was falafal balls and veggies in THAI red curry. When asked about the food by the waitress, I brought this to her attention and she was definitely not pleased, and retorted with "OK. Enjoy your meal". Later tried to order gulabjamun, but she looked not interested anymore in taking the order, just replied "ok wait". Its disappointing that so much is spent on the decor and ambience but not on hiring a good staff or cooks who know what Indian food is. Never ever again...

We ordered some food here for delivery over Lieferando, to be more specific, Mutton Madras, Murgh Madras and Murgh Sabji. Portion size is adequate for the price you pay and my god the taste was perfect. I admit, we don't exactly eat Indian food a lot but if every meal we order here is equal to quality of the one we had just now then we definitely should. Spicy, seasoned to perfection with tender bits of meat and nice rice on the side. A lot of restaurants tend to use pre-made spice mixes to quickly pump out orders so we were surprised to find actual Bayleafs, bits of Cinnamon and Cardamon in our food! That's just what you want to see in a good dish! Furthermore it was really nice to see that our wish to slightly tone down the heat of the Murgh Madras (despite eating spicy food a lot, the additional "Very Hot" behind the dish on the menu is no joke) was heard and fulfilled perfectly, the dish came out very spicy but not burn-your-stomach-out-the-day-after spicy. Good: Ambiance and serving style.

Cause of poor experience: Cash only payments - Amex, Mastercard or any other non-german card is unacceptable i.e. cash only. The worst part is lady at the reception would not even try any cards you would offer.

Not so great taste - There is no wow or yummy or any feel to the food; one could prepare more tasty food in few minutes at home. The roti was served cold. After letting them know about the roti, it was just reheated instead of replacing it with a new one.

Frozen food, not fresh and not at all ayurvedic - The food is no way cooked Ayurvedic. In fact, it did not feel fresh. Seemed really like they served frozen food by just reheating.

Not worth for what money - I paid about Euros41 for two curries and a naan. It is way too expensive for its taste and or experience.

Lack of hospitality - This lady can surely be little bit more humble or polite. Smile was missing on each one of them. The waitresses did not...
