Donna Rosa — Restaurant in Oranienburg

This happened the 4th of February 2023. Congratulations to the chef, cause the food was absolutely delicious. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ we would have loved to be served by the waitress who was serving inside, she was so sweet whenever she came to bring us something.

But our experience with the waiter was so bad in so many ways. I have to start saying that the server didn’t want to speak with us in English 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 then one of my friends order a dessert, but turned out that the waiter made a mistake, and when my friend told him.. he was saying in a rude way that it was her mistake not his. He didn't want to admit that he was wrong and made us had a bad time, although in the end the dessert was changed but the bad moment and the tension that we felt no longer made us feel comfortable. We couldn’t have any receipt cause it was writing by hand.

I hope that with this review you can seriously improve your customer service because your food is amazing.

As a tourist speaking only English, the waiter was not nice to me. I ordered the penne with hot pepperoni but my pasta did not come with any pepperoni, thus false advertising. Secondly, I asked for tap water and he said it is 2,50€ per person. Nowhere else in Berlin that I've dined at charges for tap water, and I've confirmed again that it is not bottled or sparkling, with him still saying 2,50€. Thus, I said no. He brought bread and olives out for every table except mine and all tables had German speakers. This is discrimination. Other than falsely advertising what's included in their meals, the pasta was overcooked and mushy. The waiter also gave other tables Parmesan and not mine, which truly further confirmed my suspicion of discrimination against non German speakers. I highly do not recommend if you're not a German speaker or you'll also be treated...

The food was decent here. It is not spectacular, but the prices made it much better. The lunchtime deals made pretty much everything on their menu €8.00-€10.00. This alone made the restaurant worth going to.

The staff knew enough English to get the job done, I don’t really know what languages they knew, they said English, German, and Italian words to me but I don’t really care because the food was good enough and the prices were great.

The atmosphere at this restaurant was fine, we were able to eat outside in the shade, but there were a lot of older people eating lunch. So, if you are looking for a place with any sort of energy this isn’t the best, but I would go back if I wanted Italian style food and I wanted...
