Indian Curryhouse Indian Food Restaurant — Restaurant in Paderborn

I was here with family and friends for dinner. We received a warm welcome from the owner. We ordered lamb vindaloo, chicken tikka, tandoori platter, paneer karahi and king prawns biriyani. Also some garlic naan as bread. All the main course dishes come with a complimentary basmati rice. Lamb vindaloo, Tandoori platter and paneer karahi were delicious. Chicken tikka, garlic naan and King prawns biriyani was up to the mark, chicken tikka being a bit salty. King prawns biriyani was more to the fried rice style, still fine. As drinks we had masala chai and mango lassi. Masala chai was nice and mango lassi was ok (could have been not more thick and I could feel a bit of salt in it which is strange) Overall what we liked the most was the hospitality of the owner, which gave us a homely feel. Odered Lamb Biryani for takeaway, and chicken skin was very present in the dish, and I stumbled upon some connective tissue, and a large piece of artery maybe? Or could be connective tissue too.

I don't know if this is part of Lamb Biryani recipe, I am traveling a lot across EU, eating out much, but it's a rare encounter.

I was not disgusted or so, nutritionally It has even benefits (kollagen, glycine, , etc.) but it was present in significant amount in the food, also in noticeably large pieces so worth to mention.

The service is very kind, and the atmosphere of restaurant is relaxing, and comfortable to eat at, can recommend anyways, but this can be expected while ordering...

thee worst curryhouse i have ever visited in all my years ,they allow dogs in the premises ,the food had a little flavour but no spicy kick what so ever ,the room space was small and had no ambience ie, no back ground music ,owners mobile phone kept bleeping messages , and when it came to the bill it was hand written by what looks like a five year old so could not read it,and when it came to paying it was cash only so i had to leave my family there and go to the bank to get a cash which is a no go in this day and age ,very very poor indeed. i would stay well clear of this business its on a downward slope...
