Schäfer's Brot- und Kuchen — Restaurant in Paderborn

It's a bakery so it does what it is meant to.

I had a brotchen and coffee, the brotchen was made for me as I don't eat meat on Fridays. I was not asked what sort of bread roll I wanted and I was too forgetful to think for myself (!) so I ended up with a 'cotton wool' one (not substantive) instead of my usual preference!! I did mutter to myself when I first arrived as the staff were talking to one another leaving me and other customers waiting. So what? Not a big problem but neither is it what I would have expected. In summary will I go again? Yes of course I will - it's a handy coffee shop, normally quicker than other cafés in the Sud Ring and the filter coffee...

Really disappointed with them not having any cold drinks available in this hot weather. All the drinks that was in the fridge cooler compartment was warm, when asked why the drinks were not cold we were told that the fridge was broken, so we asked do you have ice? the answer was no! why not have bags of ice available as an option so customers can have a cold drink or better still get someone to fix the fridge so cold drinks...

Heute ist es zum wiederholten male vorgekommen das man in der Schlange steht und anstatt bedient zu werden fängt die Verkäuferin plötzlich an und bedient Kunden am anderen Ende der Theke die sich viel später angestellt haben. Wenn man das dann anmerkt wird man von den Verkäuferinnen sehr unfreundlich angepampt und vorsätzlich ignoriert während später gekommenen Kunden weiterhin bedient und vorgezogen werden. Insbesondere die Verkäuferin mit dne schwarzen kurzen Haaren und der Brille hat sich hierbei besonders unfreundlich hervorgetan. Da dies heute nicht das ertse Vorkomniss dieser Art war schreibe ich diese rezension und muss mir sehr überlegen ob ich dort weiterhin Kunde...
