Ristorante Pizzeria Una, I would have loved to love, sadly this was not the case. I'll get right into it. Outside dining area is large and could accommodate several people. Staff was friendly and prompt. It is a rather large and diverse menu that included specials not listed anywhere. They specials sounded exciting, fish platter and steak it was. The steak was off the menu and was under 25€ which is good value. I mention price because this ends up being a problem very soon. As the restaurant was ready to close (well after Google posted hours) I ordered a gin and tonic, he said they didn't have any, so I ordered a rum and coke (5.90 from the menu). Watching the wait staff pour the drink shocked me as it was a jack Daniels (Whiskey) and tonic. I thought maybe he knows something I don't and this is super tasty ... News flash it isn't. Steak is tasty the fish is so so. Upon asking for the bill ... It was a rather large surprise. 70€. The problem with this stemmed from a few things. Side salad was charged but not given. Both mixed drinks were 9.90€ instead of 5.90 stated on the menu. But most egregious was the 29.90 for the fish. The singular most expensive item on the menu was the steak at under 25. The amount of fish on the platter was sparse and that's being very kind. You can see from the photo, it was more of a veggie than a fish platter. Ein besonderes Highlight ist der neue Grillabend am Freitag: Draußen wird auf einem Holzkohlegrill gegrillt, wobei der Koch sogar seine eigene Holzkohle herstellt. Dies ist ein beeindruckendes Detail, das sich in der Qualität der Speisen widerspiegelt. Die Auswahl ist abwechslungsreich und geschmacklich wirklich hervorragend.
Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und hat den Service stets im Blick. Auch das Ambiente trägt zum rundum gelungenen Besuch bei, was stilvoll eingerichtet und sehr einladend ist.
Unbedingt zu empfehlen sind die hausgemachten Desserts, vor allem das Panna Cotta und das Tiramisu. Auch die Tageskarte überrascht regelmäßig mit kreativen und saisonalen Gerichten.
