Shangri-La — Restaurant in Regensburg

I was expecting a Chinese restaurant. But this one offers some special buffets. There are some ready to eat meals and there are also different sorts of unprepared meat. You put all the different types on a plate and hand them over to a cook. He will grill them for you and the waiter brings them to your table. There are some very exotic types of meat: zebra, kangaroo, frog legs, crocodile, etc. There's of course also regular pork, beef, chicken, lamb, etc. A lot of delicious desserts as well. First time I saw live a robot bringing the food...

I came here several times for dinner and most of the things I tried from the buffet were super tasty, HOWEVER... The main attraction is supposed to be the Mongolian grill where you can have raw ingredients of your choice prepared just for you. I did that a few times and every single time they oversalted my food until it was virtually inedible. Why spend extra on dinner for a service this unenjoyable? It's a shame because the venue is beautiful and cozy and I miss the cheap dessert cakes that tasted just like raspberry ring pops. Right in...

Das Menü kostet abends fast 20€ ist für das Angebot aber gerechtfertigt. Es gibt eine komplette Reihe nur mit überbackenen Sachen wie Frühlingsrollen, Entenfleisch, Hühnerfleisch, Wan-Tan, Shrimps, Bananen, Gemüse etc es gibt des Weiteren auch Nudeln mit Sommersprossen und Gemüse, Bohnen, Reis, zwei Suppen. MUnd jetzt wsl zum wichtigsten es gab eine komplette Reihe nur mit frischem Zeug wie Muscheln, Shrimps, verschiedenen Fleischsorten und dazu verschiedenes Gemüse wie Champions, Zucchini, Bohnen etc welches man sich frisch vom Koch zubereiten lassen kann! Es wird einem zum Tisch gebracht und diese Frischeangebot gibt es auch NUR abends und nicht zum Mittagsmenü.

❌Als Vorspeise gab es Sushi wobei mich das sehr enttäuscht hat es waren 3 verschiedene Sorten da und teilweise hab ich nur noch 1-2 bekommen und dann waren sie direkt wieder leer. Selbst als aufgefüllt worden ist war die Auswahl nicht größer...soll aber angeblich 8 oder mehr verschiedene Sushis geben in zwei Reihen aufgelegt!

Zum Nachtisch gab es Tiramisu, Obst mit Schokobrunnen, Wackelpudding, Eis also das übliche was man halt bei solchen Allyoucaneat-Restaurants immer bekommt.

❌4 Sterne, deshalb weil mehrere Sachen td meines 3 stündigen Aufenthalts garnicht oder sehr gering aufgefüllt wurden... Bedienungen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Einrichtung wie Stühle, Vorhänge etc geschmackvoll im asiatischen Stil eingerichtet und passt sehr gut zusammen und nicht wie meistens komplett durchgemischt und unruhig. Angenehmes Ambiente, soviel wie man halt von einem Allyoucaneat-Restaurant...
