Good things: Portions are fairly big. Prices are reasonable Food quality/taste is average Good location and outdoor serving

Bad things: The service is bad. We waited for more than 45 min. for our starter and the place wasn’t full at all. Furthermore, guests arriving at the same time or after us got their food before we did. When we asked politely (even in German) if they had forgotten our order, the waitress acted offended and even arrogant. With an irritated attitude she told us that the food was being prepared. Not a single polite comment throughout the whole meal to make up for it or excuse the waiting time. We even saw the waitress speaking badly about us to a colleague and pointing fingers. Even the guests next to us which were local people told us that this was really bad service and offered some bread while we were waiting. It’s a shame that bad service can ruin the experience of a decent meal. Would’t go there...

Heute, 31.5.2020. Das Allerletzte. 1 Stern ist schon zu viel!!! Bedienung bemerkt die Kundschaft lange Zeit nicht: 15 Minuten. Nach Bestellung Lieferung der Getränke, anschließend 1:15 Stunden warten aufs Essen und Nachfrage diesbezüglich. Außer Haus Lieferung schien zu funktionieren, da Eintritt ins Lokal und spätere Abholung beobachtet wurde. Erklärung der Kellnerin: es gibt keinen Außer Haus Verkauf...nach Konfrontation mit unserer Beobachtung der Kommentar: ach ja die!!!! Nachdem weitere Kunden nicht beachtet wurden und gegangen sind, sind wir nach weiterer unzumutbarer Wartezeit für Pizza und Spaghetti nach Zahlung unserer Getränke IM LOKAL und der Abbestellung der Speisen gegangen. Zuvor wurden wir von anderen Gästen der Außengastronomie gebeten, beim Auffinden der Kellnerin, diese doch einmal zu ihnen zu schicken. Der Corona Schlafmodus blüht hier weiter, Einnahmen scheinen hier nicht benötigt zu werden. Wir sind sehr enttäuscht und können nur sagen: La Palma in Winningen nie wieder. Rückfragen der Geschäftsführung sind uns sehr willkommen, unsere Adressen und Telefonnummern...

We spent couple of days in Winningen and this was the best we could find or so we thought but little did we expect that we probably had the best pasta in the whole of Germany. Big shout out that the taste was authentic Italian stuff. Added to that was fantastic wine from the region. Definitely...
