Weinstube Restaurant Brunnenklause — Restaurant in Rhein-Mosel

I like a traditional German restaurant, that serves traditional (local) dishes. Usually the interior is also traditional with a lot of dark (wooden) elements. In this case I found it very relaxing to enter a modern, light (not bright) coloured and modern restaurant. The food, though, is still traditional and very good, but not per se the typical dishes that you can find in just any German restaurant. More local specialities. So if you are looking for good local food in a relaxed environment, this is the place to go! I almost forgot to mention that they serve excellent (once again local) wines to pair with the food. It is a Weinstube after all 🙂 We had a main coarse plus drink, which cost us €60,- in total...

This is a small gem in Winningen. The English speaking staff was so nice and friendly, the wine card is very rich and the food and meat is really good. If you like soup, I highly recommend the Goulash soup as your entrée. It's out of this world! Best I ever had. I highly recommend Winstube Restaurant Brunnenklause.
