Weingut Hermeshof — Restaurant in Schweich an der Römischen Weinstraße

This was the second stop on our cycle tour from Trier to Koblenz. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed. Wonderful reception from the friendly and helpful owner. Our room on the 1st floor was massive. Huge bed, massive shower room. All immaculate. We bought a couple of bottles of wine from the owner. Not opened yet. We put our ice blocks in her freezer and some medication in her fridge. Breakfast was superb, great variety with fresh crispy rolls. Secure garage parking for our bikes. We walked 2 mins in the evening to Pinocchio's Italian restaurant where the food was excellent although service very slow and staff rather aloof and reluctant to serve!. (We found this in majority of German restaurants we went to)Overall, guesthouse highly recommended. Lovely owner, great location in Moselle valley close...

Very friendly and knowledgable hosts w||ho impart their love of wine,which has been passed down from generation to generation The rooms are comfortable and the are outdoor and indoor facilities for wine tasting.||There is a good selection of wines,something for everone's taste.Try the rosè!!||Well...
