Manoli‘s Café — Restaurant in Schweinfurt

It is a small cafe. It doesn't have a lot of different choices. It is on the expensive side. However, I love that is is small, I love that it doesn't have a lot of choices because you know that they put all of their energy into the food. I don't mind the higher prices because you can taste that it is hand made. I literally just at the best cinnamon roll of my entire life. This has to be the best kept secret in Schweinfurt. I will be coming back for the coffee next time!

A good coffe shop, located in a good area. The breakfasts are very rich and the hot chocolate is great, highly recommended. The cafeteria has a very modern design and it is nice to have a drink with friends there. The guy who works there (I don't know if he's the owner, I think so) is very kind and polite, a true gentleman. It's great to have places like this in schweinfurt. I recommend...

Molón lawé!

Als ich eines Tages mal wieder mit dem Benzer meines Vaters unterwegs war, fiel mir dieses Cafe an der Hadergasse auf. Zuerst dachte ich, das wird wieder so ein Flop wie der Gyrosladen, bei dem der Betreiber angefangen hat Karotten in die Pita zu stecken und dadurch den Laden in den Ruin trieb…

Aber weit gefehlt! Manoli’s Café strahlt echte Freude aus. Der Junge behandelt seine Gäste auch entsprechend. Jeden Tag gibt es leckere Snacks wie die Bugatsa, Ravani oder Käsetaschen. Vor allem seine Röllchen haben es mir angetan – pause.

Nicht umsonst trägt er den Spruch der Spartaner auf dem Arm „molón lawé“. Damit lud König Leonidas die Perser auf ein kleines Tänzchen bei den Thermopylen ein. Diese Attitüde merkt man ihm sofort an, obwohl nicht viele in Deutschland diesen Film peilen, so wie Fler sagen würde. Also Freunde, kommt und holt euch den Kafee bzw. die Snacks von Manoli!
