I came to the restaurant with family including two girls at the age of 9 and 12. We asked for a table and said we were sorry but we speak english only. At first young lady tried to stop us saying they do not have kids menu and handed us menu to check if there is anything interesting in there. We were still standing. No one offered us a table. Then old lady from behind the bar told her in german: "Tell them we don't understand". It didn't really make sense as young lady's english was quite good. So she quickly came up with the story they are just about to close and kitchen is closing. We left and I quickly checked they are open till midnight. It was 21.35 then. I just wonder what was prejudice based upon. What really made me upset old lady changed her attitude quickly after hearing us speaking polish to each other. Hmm, how is that kind of behaviour called? Ich gehe viel und gerne essen. Ich komme viel rum und kenne nicht nur die NRW Küche. Hier habe ich das beste Essen bislang bekommen mit sehr nettem und aufmerksamen Personal. Als Vorspeise gibt es weißes Brot mit Knusperrand mit einer leichten Honig Senf Creme, die wolkenweich mit herrlichem Aroma kommt. Wegen Unverträglichkeit gab es zusätzlich Öl und Salz Pfeffer- nein, nicht im Streuer, sondern grob zum Mahlen - Qualität pur! Das Öl - ein Gedicht! Leicht, geschmacklich weich - sehr gute Qualität! Dann gab es Ente mit Orangen- Sojasoße Pak Choi und Venere- Reis. Pak Choi ist ein Kohl, der mir wie bei Kohlrouladen phantastisch schmeckte. Ich esse keinen Reis - den Venere Reis habe ich fast auf gegessen! Ente war sehr, sehr gut und die Soße hat Suchtfaktor! Das zweite Gericht war wegen Unverträglichkeiten auf unseren Wunsch hin kreiert: Rinderfiletsteak mit Ofenkartoffeln Auf den Punkt war das Fleisch zart und die Kartoffeln endlich mal, wie man sie sich auch zu Hause machen würde und oft leider nicht so lecker außer Haus bekommt!

Fazit: morgen Mittag nach der Schulung sollte Abreise sein! Morgen Abend müssen wir hier wiederholen! Wir sind froh, dass noch die Möglichkeit der Reservierung war, weil:...

Was here two times during my visit I soest. The first time we had the pork which was awesome and some of the best I have tasted. The second time I had the Rumpsteak. This was good but not nearly as good as the pork and when I had such a good first meal it was a little disappointing. From the five places I have visited in soest this is definitely the best.
