IKOSUSHI — Restaurant in Stuttgart

I came alone to this tiny town on the outskirts of Stuttgart and because I'm gluten intolerant, found this sushi place. I went in, placed the order. 2 mins later, saw someone come in and pay by cash. Since I only had a card, I asked if card payment was possible. They said no, "but the chef has said that it's on the house!"

This has now happened the second time in my life. The first was in Tokyo. I am totally disarmed by the kindness of the Japanese.

Oh and about the food was absolutely impeccable.

My plan is to go back tomorrow and pay the cash I owe, but of course the chef is not expecting a payment for this. Absolutely remarkable experience, especially in Germany. Very humbled. What can I say other than that I definitely...

Stop by this awesome location after a long weekend at Munich and starving. Everything was great especially the little lady that was serving us. Didn't know much English but that didn't get in the way from her great service. She also gave us some free samples, and that was the cherry on top. Definitely will go back. CASH Only...
