This place is the definition of a hidden gem. It’s off the beaten path, and it’s not a polished, commercialized restaurant like many in Stuttgart, but therein lies its charm. Zartosht a down-to-earth eatery where the focus is on great food and service.

We ordered a sampler of various foods for 2, which cost 62 euros. It was incredible—all kinds of seasoned grilled meats, including chicken, beef and lamb skewers, were featured, along with heaps of Persian rice, salad, roasted veggies and the most delicious garlic yogurt sauce I’ve had with flatbread.

The portions are huge—we had another full meal from our leftovers.

The owner, Ebi, not only cooks great Persian food with passion, but also gives recommendations for menu items and takes time to get to know his guests personally. We met a couple who’d eaten at Zartosht 50+ times over the years and after our experience I can see why.

The prices are exceptionally reasonable. We felt the price was so fair and the service so kind that we wanted to give a really nice tip, and still we only came to €80 for a massive meal with drinks for 2 people. The restaurant inside is basic but nice, and I imagine in summer the outdoor area would be really nice to sit in.

If i could i would give 10 star's to This Restaurant. The food is just unbelievably tasty and high-quality ☆The owner is such a gentleman and lovely person. Whenever i need to cross Stuttgart First choice will be This Restaurant.
