This place used to be my favourite place to go to with my partner. Have been living in Troisdorf for nearly two years and been here quite a few times.
I’d say the food is often a case of being lucky, sometimes it’s bad, sometimes it’s meh, sometimes it’s okay and then rarely it is good.
My favourite out of everything I have tried here, has to be the Schnitzel with bacon, love it! Not the best, but this is the case in where the food is more to the good side.
I’ve had many bad experiences here such as burned flammkuchen, and under fried chips, just to name a few.
Another thing is the beer, compared to many other places in Troisdorf, this is quite an expensive place to drink, don’t recommend if you’re only going there for a drink.
Service is really good, kind and attentive staff!
If you’re looking for a Schnitzel that tastes fairly good enough, this is the place to go to. Quite disappointed with the other things I have tried but the Schnitzel is...

Fish and Schnitzel were 'swimming' in the sauce to hide the bad quality meat. After telling the waiter that the food was not satisfying, he reacted as it was not the first time he heard it that day. So maybe we were just very unlucky but I would rather guess the quality is always like this. It's a nice place to sit outside to have a beer though as the...
Read moreWow, first time in Troisdorf and I'm travelling alone. I walked into this quiet bar/restaurant. And was blown away by the friendliness and helpfulness. Chris, my server was amazing, he initially spoke in what, to my ear, sounded like perfect German and in my very poor German asked if he spoke English. Well instantly he switched to English and explained the whole menu. Could not fault this man's service. The back room guys followed up with fantastically tasting food (photo of the Goulash soup), and the beer was pretty good too (the tasting bar is the other photo). If you're looking for a quiet place to eat good food, you'd be mad to walk past the door. I look forward to dining...
