Coffee Fellows - Kaffee, Bagels, Frühstück — Restaurant in Unterföhring

The first time we visited, it was 5 PM—an hour before their posted closing time—and the place was completely empty. No staff, no signage, no explanation. Just a closed shop despite clearly advertised hours.

The next time, we arrived at 9 AM on Sunday, a full hour after their posted opening time of 8 AM, only to be told the barista had overslept and would arrive in 30 minutes. When we returned after waiting, we were informed that they now needed another 30 minutes just to clean and get things ready. Like wtf

What’s more, there was already someone on site when we first arrived—yet instead of using that time to prep and clean, we were made to wait around while nothing got done. When the barista arrived, she started stacking the foods instead of preparing the coffee. This kind of disorganization and lack of basic responsibility is astonishing. This is a nice place but the service is unbelievably slow - it more than 15 minutes to get served. When I asked could the lukewarm hot chocolate and chai latte be served hot, I was told that “was the regulation temperature in case people burned themselves and it was against the rules to heat them any further.” The hot chocolate was very weak too.
