Little India — Restaurant in Vaterstetten

We first ordered take-away from here - chicken pakora and vegetable samoosas which were absolutely delicious. Then we went there with guests for dinner about 4 days later! Gorgeous food, generous portions - none of us finished our meals. It was SO tasty, authentic Indian food. Being of Indian origin myself, I know what I am talking about. My husband who is the red wine connoisseur in our family was intrigued by their red wine from India so he ordered a couple of glasses and was most impressed. The service, the decor, just everything is SO perfect about this place and suprisingly well priced for what you get! Fortunately for us, it is only around the corner from where we live and having only recently moved into the area, we have definitely established our preferred Indian of choice...

Edit: jus visited the restaurant last night and the ambience and service is excellent. I noticed that I have already given them 5 stars based on the food quality from a home delivery experience, but the restaurant is even better. Too bad that I can't add one more star, but I hope u guys keep up the excellent food quality and service. Absolutely delicious and heart warming jus like India! 👍 Got a home delivery from this restaurant so can only talk about the food quality and not the ambience and service. I found the paneer dishes, starters, mango lassi, naan and rice to be absolutely delicious. I'm so glad to have found this little gem which is close to my place and I'm looking forward to my next meal that I order...

Delicious meals, great ambience and uber friendly staff.

Reservation isn't needed but since we were driving from Munich, we managed to secure a table through the chat option on Gmaps. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, they spoke to most of the guests engaging in small talk and understanding how they came about the place (it's located in a small town).

The taste of the food was superb but unfortunately quantity was less for the price. The chicken sizzler/grill was perfectly cooked and soft, wish there were more pieces. Not spicy at all, which wasn't a deal breaker.

Nevertheless, will definitely recommend this place for a nice long drive (eg if u r coming from Munich) and treated to tasty...
