Enchilada Aalen — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Aalen

Ok where do I start? We waited ONE HOUR AND FORTY MINUTES for our food! The excuse was “there was an event” (a bunch of people dancing), then don’t serve regular customers when you have events if you can’t serve them properly. It was record breaking-the longest I’ve waited for food. I didn’t leave because my in laws were there and we came from another town. Secondly, when the food came, presentation was ok, taste was literally “meh” nothing great, and the avocado was NOT ready to be served it was solid as a rock. When we asked the waitress she said “it’s not hard it’s cold” wth? And telling that to a Latino like I’ve never had an avocado before. Of course she didn’t even exchange it in the end, so we stuck 3 big forks so you can see how hard it was. The drinks you have to imagine the alcohol, they seem to not add proper measurements. Summary: Terrible food, terrible service, terrible drinks. DO NOT GO THERE.

Forgot to add: The music is so ridiculously loud you can’t speak to the person next to you, we weren’t even directly on the Party area and the decibelmeter was marking 94 decibels...

The staff was friendly and the food tasted amazing. I would say that the price performance is surprisingly good because the amount of food is not small.

The staff took their time to get our drink and food order. And in between, the waiting time to order something again was quite long.

In my opinion the location looks good but it's loud. Later, the music was on, and to talk with others is difficult. I disliked that.

In the beginning we booked a table for a larger group but while we were there, they put the tables together so nothing was prepared. It didn't take long, ok, but when I book ahead, I want everything prepared and not have to wait for that again.

Wir waren vor 2 Wochen mit Freunden dort und das war auf jeden Fall unser letzter Besuch. Das Positive vorab: Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Und das war es leider auch schon. Mein Essen war ungenießbar. Ich hatte die Enchiladas Carne und bekam ein undefinierbares Gericht in einer Mini Schale. Überall war nur ein übel schmeckender Käse. Alles schmeckte nur danach und nach etwas Sucherei fand ich dann harte Enchiladastückchen. Das hatte nichts mit den Enchiladas zu tun, die ich bisher bei verschiedenen Mexikanern gegessen hatte. Mit dem Käse wurde der Geschmack des Gerichts komplett verfälscht, so dass man nur Käse und scharf im Mund hatte. Ich konnte es auf jeden Fall nicht essen. Der Maiskolben hatte eine scharfe Soße drauf und das obwohl ich gesagt hatte, dass er für ein 5 jähriges Kind ist. Und ich frage mich sowieso, was eine Soße auf einem Maiskolben verloren hat, die nicht mal in der Karte stand. Ich hatte nach unserem Besuch eine Email an das Restaurant geschrieben, weil ich nicht so extrem schlecht öffentlich bewerten wollte. Allerdings hielt man es nicht mal für nötig mir zu antworten. Deshalb habe mich entschieden die Bewertung doch zu veröffentlichen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nicht wieder. Es gab in meinem Leben viele Restaurants, in denen mir das Essen nicht sehr gut geschmeckt hat, allerdings konnte ich die Gerichte bisher trotzdem essen. Das war hier nicht der Fall. Der Kellner kam außerdem auch nie um zu fragen ob wir nochmal etwas trinken möchten. Er hat auch nicht gefragt ob mein Essen nicht geschmeckt hat, als es fast komplett zurück ging. Und er hat ein privates Gespräch zwischen uns und unseren Freunden kommentiert, was meiner Ansicht nach auch...
