Cafe Restaurant Rohan — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Ettenheim

After a long drive with tired and hungry children, we stumbled across this lovely restaurant. It was a cold, miserable evening. It was late, and they were about to close. But the staff here were absolutely amazing. We found a cosy table downstairs and ordered pasta dishes and drinks off the menu. Despite there being a small language barrier, the guy serving did a great job. When the food arrived a short time later, it was absolutely incredible. Wow. My children are fussy eaters but polished off the Spaghetti Bolognaise whilst they kept telling us how yummy it was. My wife and I had some of the best pasta, too. And then, to top it off, the bill was really good. I could not fault the service, food , or value for money. If I'm ever in that part of Germay again, then I will definitely be back at the Cafe Restaurant Rohan. Thank you...

Yesterday me and my friends wanted to have a late dinner at Rohan at 21:15

We were told by their own staff the kitchen closes at 21:45 and we could order, but only pizza and pasta. Which is fine.

As we sat down at a table. A waitress assured us she would bring the menu. 10 minutes past and then 20 minutes nog waitress and finally at 21:44 she came back and told us: 'sorry our kitchen is closed'. With explaination whatsoever.

Absolutely awfull customer service. I never experienced something like this where the staff all tell different stories and make you wait almost 30 minutes for nothing.

Absolutely lovely restaurant! The ice cream is a must-try, truly delicious and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. They always check in to make sure everything is perfect, which makes you feel really welcome. The food is also excellent, and honestly, the pizza here is among the best I’ve had in Germany so far.
