In a nutshell: pretty restaurant, clueless personnel, mild-tasting food, not very authentic, slightly overpriced. The first doubt came when we found that the word Masala on the menu was repeatedly mispelled as ‘Marsala’ (that’s a Sicilian dessert wine, for your information). When we told the waitress, she drew a blank, clearly not knowing what Masala even means. I mean… Next, we ordered a basket of lentils chips with mango chutney. It came with a tiny jar of sweet and sour sauce. When we asked for the chutney, another unaware waiter came back with the same red sauce, claiming, though hesitantly (he didn’t really know), that that was it. I asked an Indian waiter and he asked, laughing, “oh, isn’t it?”. Again, clueless. The samosas were good but quite mild tasting. The lamb tikka was fine but the yogurt sauce tasted of absolutely nothing. The chai (‘marsala chai’ 🤦🏻‍♀️) was delicious, but overpriced (3,90€ for a coffee-size glass). In conclusion, I will not go back, there are much more authentic and better Indian restaurants in Lörrach and Basel that I way prefer. The prices are close to those in Switzerland, not acceptable. Please train your waiters on what is on the menu, at...

UPDATE: we ate again here 2nd time February 2024 compared to my first time in which the resto was just newly opened.

*credit card payment is now accepted *they serve lunch mean set..which is very satisfying. Value for money. *service was good too ‐---------------‐---------------------------------------------------------- The food was average Indian food.. price wise vs quantity not value for money. The service was slow. The staff were friendly but the food came out very slow.

We miss the info that there were no card payment so we...

1st exp. @NaaN was far better than any other Indian resturants in Lorrach. Owner was friendly and recommended us the best choices that they serve. I liked the roti and naan as its from clay oven ( tandoor), butter paneer and chicken masala, bhuna chucken, and for dessert mango cream. Mango cream came as a surprise as it was too good. Overall taste and quality was best. Quantity could have been little better. We have not tried samosa but thats for the next visit. Recommend to book table on weekends as...

Sehr neues indisches Restaurant in Lörrach.
