Located adjacent to each other are the Brauhaus Lasser restaurant and the large PrivatBrauerei Lasser brewery. There is limited parking behind the restaurant and more parking along the street. From the small private parking lot are large windows that look into the main brewhouse. Inside you can see the tops of beautiful huge copper brewing vessels. The building to the right is filled with kegs. The Brauhaus is a nice option for a meal and to taste their beer. Just inside up a few stairs is a welcome area with a few tables and two distinctive circular booths with large copper domes overhead, reminiscent of their brewing vessels. In the center is bar with a stainless steel tap tower and plain black tap handles. There is no seating or service at the bar, which is used by the waitstaff. To the left and right are dining rooms with nice tables with fabric chairs. Outside is a gravel beer garden with wooden benches around a fire pit. The enclosed area is cozy and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their beers. The kitchen is worth the wait for their delicious German style cuisine. They have a limited lunch menu, but still with good options. They have 5 house beers on tap, which are available by glass or sampler flight. They also carry guest taps of the famous Maisel’s Hefeweizen. Their Lasser house beers are well made and very drinkable. I enjoyed my visit for a sausage...
Read moreWoow, this is THE place to go to. We did not book a table since we stayed for two nights only, but I would recommend to do so. They have a large place to sit both indoors and outdoor, they speak English if you need them to and they are very kind and attentive. They have reasonable pricing o the menu and all of the dishes are huge. The Brauhaus platte is BIG. Very tasteful food, it was so good that we came back the next day and did not try other restaurants near by, we had the burger and it was one of the best I have ever had, and really big. The sweetpotato fries are also very good. They have a very good wine from nearby and their own beer is amazing, the beer can be bought in the local store...
Read moreMy friend got sick after visiting the Brauhaus. We asked the staff twice (!) if the food contained any gluten (it's not a fad thing, she's actually allergic) and they said no. When the food arrived the salad contained croutons so we sent the food back into the kitchen and specifically asked for a new dish. A new plate arrived and I'm certain they just picked the bread off and gave us the plate back, since my friend showed an allergic reaction shortly after our visit. Disgusting how people at this place treat allergies lightly and are not concerned with the safety of their customers. Would not recommend this...
