Osteria da gino — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Nagold

Very difficult to rate this restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice. There is a small room which is nicely decorated. Although the tables are very close to each other we could chat without getting disturbed from the neighbours. There was not a menu but the chef came and asked us what we wanted. The food was really good and the price was acceptable for this quality of experience. We left without having a dessert because the waiter for was not really there for a long time. Was a bit strange as we said we said earlier that we wanted to have a dessert - therefore one point less for the service. If you want a quaint restaurant with style and good quality food and you don't mind taking to the chef about what you want to eat then this could be a good...

Nichts für den schmalen Geldbeutel - viel Geld mitnehmen - dann darf man sich fühlen und schmecken wie in Bella Italia!

Die Osteria Da Gino ist ein echtes Feinschmeckerrestaurant! Eine Karte gibt es nicht, Gino (der Chefverkäufer) kommt an den Tisch und erklärt einem auf seine lustige und lockere Weise was es heute gibt.

Und da ist man schnell bei ‚etwas Antipasti‘ - die aber ein Wahnsinn sondergleichens ist. Nicht zu vergleichen mit irgendeiner Pizzeria (die es hier übrigens gar nicht gibt).

Spaghetti mit Trüffelcreme und Parmesan als Zwischengang oder Hauptspeisse. Alles ein großes Gedicht.

Mit knapp € 90,- für 2 Personen ist man da schnell und gut dabei. Für wen das ok ist wird sehr zufrieden sein Reservieren empfehlenswert!

Nachtrag, nachdem ich mir die Rechnung genauer angeschaut habe. Was mich dabei stört: Ich hatte die Pasta-Tartuffo bestellt und mein Kollege Frutti di mare. Auf Nachfrage Vom Chef ob wir denn nicht beide eine kleinere Portion haben möchten und uns diese quasi teilen, bejaten wir das. In der Annahme das uns jeweils 1 Portion berechnet wird (die Preise erfährt man ja nicht im Voraus...). Dass uns dann jeweils 2x Pasta berechnet worden ist ärgert mich und ich fühle mich als hätte mir jemand etwas aufgeschwätzt was ich gar nicht wollte aber nun bezahlen musste. Das ist die Ernüchterung danach...

Wie gesagt: Die Speissen und das Restaurant ist der Hammer - das aber vielleicht etwas im Hinterkopf haben bzw. bei der Menüauswahl auch ruhig mal nachfragen was das denn...

Absolutely delicious and freshly cooked food! A place where you’ll really get the Italian spirit. The waiter and especially the owner are very chatty and nice.
