This was our lunchtime destination for a bicycle trip to Schopfheim. It was exactly what we were looking for and expected. The service is very good, the food is wonderful, and the restaurant has been recently renovated. Since Pfefferlinge are in season (Chanterelle), we all ordered either a salad or pasta. All were excellent. Prices are reasonable. We will definitely return.

We were there just today evening. If you search a real German atmosphere of the provitial small city then you can say that you find the right place: tasty food, friendly people and very reasonable prices. I fully recommend this place for the lunch or evening dinner with family members or friends.

Essen war okay, aber nichts besonderes. Sehr gute Portionen und große Fleischmengen. Negativ war, dass wir 1:45h auf unser Essen warten mussten und Tische die nach uns (ohne Reservierung) kamen deutlich vor uns ihr Essen erhalten haben. Bei einem Gericht waren die Kartoffeln nicht fertig und noch roh innen.

We were in the town for few days during new year eve and looking around for dinner we just founded this nice restaurant/pub. Here you can find tipical german food and everithing is done by hart, food was very nice and fresh, we went twice and we eated different meal, we suggest deer meat, it is very tender and tasty.
