We stayed here at the start of a bike trip from the source of the Danube in the town down to Vienna. I would say that this was probably the best hotel we stayed in on our trip. Simple, not pretentious in any way but the kind of hotel where everything was in order. From the booking process through arrival until departure, there were no problems. The room was large with the normal toiletries (unlike similarly priced, penny pinching family hotels such as Zum Schwann in Traismauer - see review), the WIFI worked, breakfast good, etc. We ate in the Restaurant which as other reviews remarked is popular with locals and had a good meal. This hotel was the first one we stayed in on our German Danube bike ride. It is situated close to the train station (10 minute walk) as well as town amenities. We arrived extremely jet-lagged and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Our laundry was taken 'off site' and returned (ironed) within 24hours. The room was average size with good sized bathroom: clean and comfortable. There is a small lift to access the top floors. The restaurant is on the premises, which is a good size and frequented by locals. All meals were absolutely delicious, with a distinctive 'Swabian' flavour.
