We occasionally get lunch take-outs as indoor dining is not allowed due to current Covid regulations. Had a thoroughly enjoyable evening here catching up with an old friend. It's a little out of the way, but the staff were friendly, service was excellent, and the food was just what we were looking for. I ate snails in garlic butter which were the best I think I've ever eaten, followed by a Wiener Schnitzel which they allowed me to swap the chips for spätzle, which was heavenly. Nice hotel to stay overnight in the basel area. It is located in a quite part of a village and one has the idea to sleep in the country site. The rooms are large and comfortable and good value for money. The checkin was fast and very friendly.
