⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ L’Osteria Wertheim Almosenberg delivers on flavour and portion size — a satisfying stop if you’re craving hearty Italian fare.

The pasta dishes were generally on point: well-cooked and tasty with sauces that hit the spot. Their pizza, though, is the true showstopper — massive, with a deliciously chewy and flavourful dough that feels authentically Italian. Perfect for sharing, or not (no judgment).

The food feels comfortingly traditional, from presentation to flavour, and it’s clear they take pride in offering a slice of Italy.

That said, service leaves room for improvement. Staff seemed overwhelmed or undertrained — not so friendly and not always attentive. Some polish in the service would elevate the entire experience.

Still, if you’re near Wertheim Village and need a generous, flavourful meal, this is a solid pick....

The food itself was great! Very delicious and filling. Restaurant is very nicely decorated BUT, my mother is allergic to dogs and there were at least 5 dogs in there. I told the waiter that my mother is allergic is to dogs and asked to be seated at another table, the waiter was kinda irritated at first but then agreed to move us only to have a couple seated next to us a few minutes later with a dog. We didn’t want to move again so unfortunately my mom wasn’t able to enjoy her food because she constantly had to blow her nose and her eye began to swell. My pizza (had some salad and chicken on it, similar to Caesar salad) was delicious. Poor English. Service is not so good. After I had my pizza, I went to the toilet, and by the time I went back, the waiter cleaned up everything (took my full glass cocktail) and asked us to leave (4 adults and one child). Atmosphere horrible. To a close table, this lady had her child screaming and crying so loud and instead of trying to calm him down she just stood like that for like 20 mins and then another 5 minutes decided to stay with the child screaming between other tables(including ours). Can't even describe it how horrible it was. Once again, the pizza...
