Fish & Steak House — Restaurant in Wetzlar

I have been in Wetzlar for the past week and was looking for a Halal place to eat after eating there on the first night and seeing how fresh the food was and the amazing staff. I only wanted to eat their for the remainder of my stay. (They are closed on Tuesday and I had to find another place to eat and it was no where near as good as the Fish and Steak Restaurant) I tried to eat as much as during my stay. The house speciality fish soup is excellent! The Fish-House Baguette was excellent the bread the fresh, the fish was succulent and freshly cooked and the salad was fresh and crunchy. The Burger is amazing again amazing quality succulent meat with an amazing bun and salad ... perfection in every bite. The Steaks I had the Rump, Rib-Eye steaks were excellent! They were cooked to perfection. Every bite was a taste explosion. I had the tiramisu on the first day and after that is all i ordered ..it really is an excellent way to end a perfect meal. Alhumdulillah. The portion sizes were fantastic and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Finding Halal is hard in Wetzlar but finding excellent quality Halal food is even harder but alhumdulillah really blessed to have found this place. My colleague who doesn't eat halal tried Fish and Steak and after sampling another establishment came back to Fish and Steak for the rest of the week and much of the clientelle were not muslim but said the food served here was excellent! This place cooks and serves their food with love and this shines through...

Wir hatten die Sardellen und die Pulpa. Beides war sehr lecker, insbesondere im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants in der Gegend, die beides zwar im Angebot hatten, aber eher enttäuschten. Das Manko ist, dass viel Convenience Food benutzt wird, siehe bspw die Kartoffeln oder das Salatdressing. Das sind beides Dinge, die man einfach und schnell selbst machen kann, wie man es eben von einem Restaurant erwartet. Auftauen und backen oder eine Tüte öffnen, Pulver in eine Schüssel schütten und mit Essig, Öl und Wasser aufgießen - das kann ich selbst. Das entspricht einfach nicht den Erwartungen an ein Restaurant, das Preise im Wetzlarer Mittelfeld aufruft. Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn ihr hier noch nacharbeiten würdet. Dennoch war ich zufrieden und werde definitiv wiederkommen. Ich empfehle allen, zu reservieren. Die Atmosphäre ist ungezwungen. Es gibt auch einen Luftfilter - das ist mir sehr positiv aufgefallen. Wir, meine Partnerin und ich, waren am 03.05.2019 in diesem Ambiente zum Essen. Leider haben wir uns, von den, meist, guten Bewertungen, blenden lassen. Wir können diese nicht bestätigen. Entweder hatte der Koch einen sehr schlechten Tag oder die Wetzlarer haben eine seltsame Vorstellung von gutem Essen. Der Vorspeisenteller bestand zu 2/3 aus convenience Produkten und die Anrichte war cross over. Die Garstufe der Steaks (medium Rare) wurde nicht getroffen. Als Erklärung sagte man uns, man benutze einen Lavagrill und da wäre es sehr schwer die Garstufen zu treffen. Häh??? Die Bratkartoffeln waren fettig, blass und innen noch hart.
